I assumed because of that and you were asking the lodge number and i've spent around a year looking in to freemasons and decided i wanted to join.

I believe in God and will still attend my church and family and work will always come first.

I said the concept of Satan is a Christian one as the mythology did not exist prior to the founding of the religion.

Since you have all the masonic knowledge, could you clue me in as to where in the ritual, and what degree this "Lucifer" discussion takes place? I'm pretty new at all the masonry business and you seem have VAST knowledge of the craft. Since you are a traveling man and all.

Once you become a master mason, you will be as much a mason as any master mason. Side degrees are just something more to learn and do. You will find that the learning is just starting when you become a master mason. If you pay attention, it will continue that way until you die. Anyone who joins the Scottish Rite becomes a 32nd degree mason in a weekend. You can not even be sure what it means to be a mason, and be a 32nd degree. Which is why the number system is irrelevant.

Pay attention to the old dudes. They have lots of knowledge and experience and will not be around forever. Try to be as active as your time allows.
