I wonder how many anti-fluoride folks out there are pumping themselves full of stuff like colloidal silver or Kangan water.

Something that was a poisonous by-product of Aluminumbauxite processing

Did you watch the video? Chemical "by-products" are everywhere. Nearly all chemicals that have a human benefit are toxic in their undiluted forms. For example, 1% hydrocortisone cream is very effective at treating minor skin irritations. 50% of the same stuff, and you've got real problems. Vitamin D is a bodily necessity, but highly toxic in large amounts.

It's all in the dose.

Or drinking green tea. According to levels we saw, five 10-ounce drinks of green tea a day, made with no-fluoride bottled water, can get you close to 1mg of fluoride a day depending on the strength.

Cucumbers, spinach, tomatoes, carrots and grapefruit are all naturally high in fluoride (all vegetables have fluoride). In fact, vegan diets can often amount to more than 1mg a day in fluoride.

large quantities--tons-- of poisonous by-products are what we are talking about here and they must be stored or moved away from human habitation--or if you're a smooth talker, make the Morons think it's good for 'em and charge them to dump it into their water supply.

In the UK we do not have fluoride added to the drinking water
a reply to: artistpoet

Correct, we have chlorine instead,(well some of us) I wonder how many disfunctional kids are allergic to chlorine but drink gallons of the stuff over a length of time.

Lol ...5 x 10 ounces (Green Tea) per day equals 50 ounces per day
X 7 (Week) 350 ounces
x 52 (Year) equals 18,200 ounces per year

A pound of tea will last any normal person a week ... your figure works on this imaginary person drinking nearly 22 pound a week

Whoever drinks that much green tea a day deserves a medal and free health care if such a person existed

Vitamin D and hydrocortisone (or cortisone) are essential to life in small quantities. You can die from a total lack of them. You can not die from absence of fluoride, but you can be easily poisoned by small amounts. It can not be justified to force someone to take a poison, even a small dose, in the belief that it might do them good--especially when the choice for one and all to get a small dose is very cheap and easily available.

You need " Bone Char " activated carbon...Flouride has an affinity for the calcium found in your bones and it will bond with it or force it out and replace it...Most water filters are made from some sort of activated carbon but bone char is made from bovine bone or other types of animal bones....It will get the trick done....You can find it dirt cheap online too with various mesh sizes...larger the better....

The essence of the argument, is that the Gov't is gonna put something in your water, whether you want it or not--the water you pay for. Something that is toxic at small doses. Something that was a poisonous by-product of Aluminum/bauxite processing and was expensive for the Aluminum manufacturers to handle, until they thought of dumping it into water supplies and charging for it.

One of the biggest "Pushers" for fluoridation is an insurance group called Delta Dental. Check out Schedule Y on this Arkansas tax report:
www.insurance.arkansas.gov...

Their CEO www.deltadentalins.com... Interesting college major. $6 billion in Revenue.

They are owned by another giant group: Renaissance Health Services Corp. which only list assets of between $10 and $50 million, but is listed as a charitable organization with income of less than $9,999/year:
www.faqs.org...

Renaissance Health Services Corp just signed a contract with these guys---Interleukin Genetics:
www.businesswire.com...

Maybe all they really want is a good test for periodontal disease, but somehow my suspicions are that it is worse than that.

This being a conspiracy site, I didn't want this post to get ignored at the bottom of a page.

If you're smart you would use nascent iodine and/ a bentonite clay instead.....Colloidal silver is not useful for removing flouride from your body...its is great is ripping viruses and bacteria apart though....a reply to: Blue Shift

Yes I am against chlorine in water ... I know plants do not like it ... it kills their growth
I suggest if it concerns you to boil all your water before consuming

"Dechlorination is as simple as leaving a jug or jar of water open to the air, where the chlorine will transform into a gaseous state and float away. It may take a day or two for all the chlorine to escape, but even leaving the water out overnight will remove most of the chlorine"

"Boiling is another way to remove chlorine"

What the hell does any of that have to do with putting something directly into the water that has absolutely ZERO chance of doing what it is claimed to be doing, and actually measurably affects health.

Source for your wild claim?

I thank the heavens where I live this was BANNED in 2007, having a very sensitive immune system I feel like crap the second toothpaste enters my mouth.

Some people are more sensitive than others. It happens with everything.

Internet Meme and Internet Warriors LOL, you have no idea this battle was going on loudly far before the INTERNETS.

Right. But also before people had access to information a finger click away. Before they could actually access and read scientific papers easily. Before internet memes? Yes. But in this day and age, fearing the boogeyman because of ignorance is not as easily overlooked....

And here, we WON.

The ignorance trophy? Is that something to be proud of?

Why even bother to write such a response? If you watched it and think you can easily refute me, then do so. I am not gonna watch an hour of anything which appears to be a bunch of keyboard warriors trying to prove a point.

By that statement alone it shows you are not willing to even consider another outlook. Have a good life.
I sincerely mean that.

It's unfortunate that these kinds of discussions always dissolve into literal church meetings. One of the few things I've learned over my many years is that some people are so entrenched in their beliefs that they are not going to change their minds no matter how much reason you throw at them, so the best thing to do is walk away before you end up saying mean things to them.

I really, really don't care what people do with their own bodies. Fortunately for us, we live in an age where if somebody doesn't want to ingest fluoride, they don't have to. And if they want to load themselves up with a lot of bogus curatives and literal snake oil, they can find it on the Internet. I'm sure it works, because of all the super-powered immortals I see walking around.

*shrugs*

BTW the show is just around 15 minutes or were you referring to some other video?

I just tried to watch. Couldn't stand listening to the host. Sorry.

Is this thread now only about the video? Do we have to watch it to comment about fluoridation in this thread?? or can we continue to speak and reason with the written word about the topic?

Did anyone associated with the video read my post about Delta Dental?? follow the links?? If Delta Dental or Renaissance or Interleukin Genetics was mentioned in the video, I will go back and watch it.

I care ...
It is fine if "They" are informed and make a choice one way or the other but the general public is duped by both sides
There are pros and cons and lies and truths on both sides as the NLBS 38 points out
The information is up for discussion ...ignore the pettiness
Allow free choice ... Agree to disagree

Nothing personal just wanted to make that point
