A more mundane answer could be sleepwalking.

Both events happened while we both were awake.

Ah, with that I would definitely consider the possibility that it may be the aunt, but until something happens that's more definitive it's going to be hard to tell. Something as little as moving the plant from outside to inside could be reason enough for some things.

And I could understand the mediation thing but as long as you use protection techniques you'll be alright. You don't have to communicate with whatever it is but you may be able to get a impression of just what's responsible for the odd behavior.

Otherwise just keep your eyes peeled. Pay attention and be aware of your environment. Maybe in time you can narrow it down as to what it is. Unless it starts getting negative then you need to consider a more proactive approach.

I was referring to the following:

Stuff is appearing/ switching places. Yesterday, he was looking for vinegar, and it turns out it was in the fridge, and no, we don't store it there. I don't like it so I didn't touch it, and he has OCD so he knows he didn't change its place.

Thanks for the replies, mate. If work calms down a bit, I may be able to go back to meditation and try to get a glimpse of what's going on.
It's weird that it just happened all of a sudden. I keep trying to put my finger on what was that triggered it. Oatmeal like we said? The plant, maybe? I don't know, but I'll try the things you and other users suggested, and I'll let you know what happened.
If you come up with any other ideas, please, share it with us.

Thanks again,

Regards.

Yes its a kind of house elf. In Scotland we call them Brownies
how old is your house? Mine was built in 1850 and im sure the Brownies are more active in older homes, with plenty garden greenery and trees nearby too. I live in a coastal city and my garden isn't huge but it is ancient and has two rare trees and even a large fairy ring in the only patch of grass. My house is definitely very active with a brownie or two and i think these other factors might contribute. I was curious as to what your house is like? When i was young i only heard of brownies in old country houses, surrounded by nature but with the house i am in now in a busy city i see this isn't the case at all.

Well, we have a backyard with at least 3 (small /medium) trees. I also have a pine three. It's just a regular suburban house with a lot of plants in the back. Sadly not many flowers, cuz our dog ate most of them.
The house is about 80 years old.

Sounds ideal for a brownie, plenty trees and plants and your house is a good age.

I wonder if anyone living in brand new house with little greenery nearby experiences brownies?!

Well, a new house doesn't necessarily mean nobody lived in the same spot (terrain)

That gets my vote for unintentionally (i think) funniest question of the day.

That'd be awesome. If more people comment on their experiences, maybe we can make a new thread with all the gnome/ brownie information we can gather.

What the heck is wrong with you people that instead of putting things like this down to normal, humdrum, mundane human flaws like mis-remembering something or forgetting where you put something you reach for a supernatural, extraordinary explanation of pure fantasy?

"I can't find my keys!! MUST BE PIXIES!"

Like, seriously..

But like, seriously, I'm afraid it hasn't just been a case of missing keys for me. I have had other witnesses who have seen how items vansih from the spot they were in (we hadn't left the room) then return to that spot an hour later and after furious searching and no we weren't high or drunk. After years of these inexplicable things happening, I will look for answers where others perhaps wouldn't plus I live in an 200 year old listed building so I am not surprised when these anomolies happen and right now a brownie is the best conclusion I can come to.

Well for those of us who have experienced the paranormal first hand we've learned that sometimes things happen that don't have such a simple explaination.

Sometimes they do sometimes they don't. But, I would assume that a lot of us being members of a conspiracy forum and all probably take the time to entertain a more diverse set of possibilities.

For myself, I entertain those possibilities because I've experienced things I was told my whole life were "impossible". Grade school and college were essentially indoctrination for a false reality. And once you realize youve been lied to your whole life concerning one thing then everything else is up for reevaluation.

Like, seriously

This has happened to my wife and I a number of times.

They are very mischievous, they don’t mean any harm, they just like to play with your head.

My wife lost her wedding ring, nothing serious!!!!!. My wife was of course frantic and she swore she left it on the lamp table under the lamp. We searched the entire house, everywhere she had been. After a few weeks we sort of give up looking, and where making arrangements to replace it.

In the meantime the table she thought she had left it, was almost stripped down searching for the ring, but in the end we gave up, I polished the table myself and dusted the lamp a few times in the meantime.

About three week later when my wife was out, I looked on the table, and there was her ring, exactly as she said she had left it.

This is Gods honest truth and one of the reasons I feel so strong about the validity of paranormal phenomena.

You have no idea, because it obviously hasn't happened to you. When it does and you know there is no other logical explanation you will start to question your sanity.

They are elementals, they are everywhere, they come in all shapes, sizes and temperaments but we can't see them. Some do belong and live in this dimension, but many live on the next plane some call the Astral plane. (Where we pass through when we check out)

The ones that do most of this stuff live here, but they are composed of etheric matter. They can be seen by people who are sensitive enough, via the pineal gland and many see them move in their peripheral vision, but never get a real fix on them. They are the source of all the the sightings like the little people and fairies, goblins and elves. The majority of them have very little time for humans.

Babies see them all the time!

Of course it's The aunt. She has an attachment to the place and is trying to get your attention. Be nice to her as if she were alive, a conversation asking her to rest in peace. Light het a candle. Burn some sage, be respectful to her, ask another gran or someone who has passed on to guide her transition. If the aunt was spiritual. Say a prayer with her in her religion.

you are spot on kennyb72
they are everywhere and some of us can certainly tap in and see them. I connect with the elementals of the forests the most. I have also caught things on camera in forests - a small, green-ish blue-ish glowing object moving through the trees (there are two photos to show the movement) and my kids were playing in this huge circle between some of the tallest and no doubt oldest trees in scotland at the time (Craigvinean Forest if anyone is interested). I believe the gentle nature of the kids play brought the littlel fae out. I would love to post the pictures but I simply cannot get images to post here today, very annoying. They upload fine but when using the 'insert an image from your library' function in posts I get a small rectangular box which does nothing except allow me to close it! Any ideas anyone?

Hi daftpink, if you go to your uploads and select the picture a box will appear with a variety of codes that you can paste into your post. Select the one your want to post it'll looks something like (...
...) not the brackets I had to put them in to stop it html'ing.

Oh it's still reading the code, where the blue box is it should look like (pic)kjkjioioui79(/pic) but with square brackets instead of curved brackets

I would love to see your pics!
