Unidentifed flying object recorded in Lima

Its definitely "Saucer" shaped. You have multiple witnesses to it apparently as well. If anyone has anymore information on this, please share.

Thoughts? I'll say that this is one of the first times Ive seen a pinkish/purple "UFO".

And apparently Congressman Renzo Reggiardo also seen it.

Not very saucer shaped looking at the end of the long video in the source article. That could be perspective though.

The right side of it (from the viewer's pov) looks like it has a sharper edge compared to the left. Reminds me of a Star Trek shuttlecraft, but purple. I don't know if it definitely is a saucer. S + F

Yeah, I noticed that too.

I hope there is more information about this sighting out there somewhere. Its recent. So maybe another video or two is coming since its a multiple witness sighting.

This could be those ice crystals NASA is always talking about!

However I think its just a UFO flying around doing its thing, question is who is flying it?

Could it be a drone?

Interesting. Doesn't look like any drones I'm familiar with.

It's good there were multiple witnesses, but I wonder if there were any other witnesses independent of the party that shot it?

FWIW, South American countries are much more open than the US about sightings, records, investigations on UFO's. Actually just about every country on Earth is more open about this than the US, I wonder why.

Maybe, but then again, would that explain what others were seeing that were not looking through a camera lens?

I don't know but it reminded me of this Blue UFO over the Netherlands from last year.

Nobody reported seeing that UFO other than those who filmed it , I'm willing to bet there will be no other reports of this UFO even though it would appear to be hovering motionless over a major city.

Yeah, its still a relatively young sighting. So I was hoping that some more information would come out.

LOL.....it's ok to provisionally be interested in this sighting while reserving full-blown enthusiasm pending more information.

The sighting was not filmed through glass, it was recorded outside in a building
during the Alto Al Crimen newscast in Miraflores Peru and the tv crew alerted
the reporter of the UFO at the distance, see here the live action recorded.

You can definitely confirm this one as being real with all of the camera phone recordings. There's likely even more recordings of this UFO that haven't surfaced yet.

I'm no expert of course but when i watch the full video picture intently, (not zoomed or stabilized)

I get the feeling of 'Drone' characteristics, specifically quad-copter, I have one and the movement looked and felt to me to be similar
