Although I agree with you I also disagree with you. Right now there are girls being raped and people murdered in ISIS territory.

Right now our government isn't doing that. I would like to see ISIS stopped.

No, our government rapes mostly boys instead of girls.

They are systematically pulling them all from under our feet in the UK. There will be none left soon.

Sorry if I sound ignorant, I'm from the UK too but do you have any links for this information?

Yes being in the States I too would like to know more about whats happening in the UK, and how the common citizen feels about some of the issues at hand. Media here in the USA is mostly owned buy corporations and we are just told what we're supposed to know. I'm sure Great Britain isn't an exception with the press.

True that.

They're all pedophile scumbags.

As a citizen of the UK, but not intending to be so for much longer, the sad fact is people are pretty much apathetic to the real issues and are more concerned about fake issues like who shot Lucy Beale. I struggle to get anywhere when stuff like the pedophilia scandal, erosion of liberties and #OpDeathEaters comes up. Heads in sand, me labelled as conspiracy nut (which is ridiculous really), picking holes in everything and avoiding the reality of the situation.

These are people who dont want a better world for themselves or their children. They are content with their distractions and other # they are bought off with by the elite. Oh yeah, their children. That's when they start to bitch, when this poison pops their own bubble, THEN they start to cry about it. But if its just other people's children, they dont give a #, which is cold and heartless.

The shortened version-- Obama say Islamic State 'poses grave threat'.

I always believe what politicians tell me.

Hmmm, yes another wonderful statement from the leader of my Nation. The scary issue is, which no-brained intern told him to say it. I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure most of the people including Muslim countries clearly agree that ISIL is a grave Threat. Now that this human has finally come to this conclusion he plans on throwing troops at it. Yes i shall concede this may be the only option at this point, however this issue should have been addressed a year ago.

Syria is now striking ISIL targets at night. Hence the current position with Obama.."The enemy of my enemy, is my friend". Perpetual warfare and conflict follows. As people we are forced to watch the news and sound bites and embrace the horror.

Pretty difficult to ignore the coincidental ISIS Homeland as being inside Syria's borders. They are next on that list of nations, you know. not in Borneo.

Its oil my friend, mid eastern oil, not sand or Brussels sprouts.

All this coming bloodshed over oil? I know IS need to be dealt with, but the way this world is, makes me not want to be a part of it at times.

Voluntarily? I hope not. How many times must the cannon ball fly?

so, he doesn't need congress to go into Libya , but wants their approval to do this.

did something change?

Yeah Republicans took control of the Senate, and they maintained control of the House.

Funny though since 2010 he hasn't given a snip what congress thought.

Even in his latest STOU he threw down the gauntlet.

Now suddenly he wants congressional approval. Pretty much to blame the right for war mongering, etc.

That authorization severely limits the military, and the future president's power to fight terrorism.

As if by some magic it is going to go away after 3 years.

The President is a joke, and doesn't deserve the title of commander in chief.

Greed, really. The industrial oil complex doesn't care much about spilt blood.

Russia's not gonna like that. Syria being their client state and all ...

Although I can't imagine oil has a whole lot to do with it since we have more than enough of our own.

But not yet all

I understand greed. I understand it.

There is never enough to fill some peoples obsessive desires. Look at the wealthiest people on the planet.

I can't image in what they are thinking.

It's not oil.

It's the natural gas pipeline to Europe that's at stake.

And I imagine the Obama supporters are 100% behind this.

I think the target is Damascus.

If all the Sunni armies unite, it's curtains.
