When I was a teen I had a wart sister, me and my best friend both had a wart in the same place on the same hand, the warts disappeared at the same time and then we both got a plantar wart (Varuca) on the palm of the hand exactly in the same place but on the palm instead of the top of the hand, it was like it worked its way from the top to the bottom, then they disappeared at the same time. Then when as an adult I had a wart on my face and I got rid of it by cutting two slices of garlic and poking out the middle of one and place this piece so the wart was surrounded by garlic and then the second piece on top of the first piece of garlic then I held it in place with a sticky plaster bandage, I keep it on for 24 hour then replace with fresh garlic for another 24 hour, and it burned ouch, then I took it all off and had a big patch of burnt skin on my face for a few days then it was gone and no more wart. Dandelion milk repeatedly covering the wart helps too, something about some acid in the plant can't remember the name. And I think the duct tape works as cutting off the air supply to the wart.

ok maybe i misunderstood , but i have posted enough information on the subject to answer any questions any body needs .

the only question that i am surprised no one has asked is why does it work , and to be honest i have forgotten the name of the active ingredient , but any one that wants to know more i would urge them to just type in the google box how to get rid of warts, believe me that is all i do and all info is there , it is the best way because you can read the pro's and con's of the treatments and not just one persons view .

again sorry if i misunderstood its just that i started to sense a little piss taking coming into the subject .

I did ask how the chemical in it only affects the wart. I imagined it coming into contact with the surrounding skin and I wondered whether it irritated it?

Or do you manage to keep the banana skin paste STRICTLY on the wart?

The question about never eating bananas again came from me attending a wild pie fight in my youth and having so much pastry crammed into my face and up my nose, I still can't enjoy Banana Cream pies, 40 years later.

You didn't mention the "only apply at night" part the first time around either, and let's face it seeing someone with yellow paste filling their nostril is gonna make you want to gag.

I do appreciate the information, thanks.

I'm going to try this on the hubby. He's had one on his hand forever, and we have tried all kinds of stuff.

I actually use Oregano whenever we get stuffy from a cold. just a few drops in water you've brought to a boil, then shut off. be careful, because it is strong, but you breathe the steam in, and boy, does it clean out your sinuses.

I know you've warned about using on mucus areas, and I agree, but breathing in the hot steam, while harsh for a second or two, has never caused any problems for either of us.

Castor Oil works, also. When I was a kid I had numerous warts on my elbows, knees, hands, etc. Folks took me to the doctor to get them removed and he refused. Told us to apply castor oil twice a day and cover with a bandaid. Within a week all warts were gone and never returned. that was 50 years ago,,,,

Keep us posted on how it turns out in 3 to 4 weeks.

And maybe even a pic of before and after, if you care to.

Interesting.

I have heard of this also, and that the body excretes it's own cures via first morning urine, or at least that is when it's the strongest.

Not sure what exactly is in the urine, but many make claims of curing multiple illness with it.

Don't know if this has been covered, (I did see mention of vinegar), but I have used Apple cider vinegar successfully on my daughter. I actually had an appointment with her doctor and after waiting forever in the waiting room I had to leave. I got home and the planters wart was gone.
I've also used tea tree oil. My kids had what is called molluscum contagion (spelling ?). It looks like tons of warts, and is very contagious among kids. Tea tree oil cleared it right up!

Now that is my kind of doctor. And thanks for the added info.

I wish we had more of those kind these days, but profiteering, medical school and big pharma brainwashing, and just plain ignorance has taken it's toll.

i only placed it in a night because of that very reason , it would not be a nice thing to see if your out and about , but it is not yellow in fact it soon become rather dark black .

and as for eating the banana , yes indeed i still eat them they are a good source of potassium .

i never experienced any irritation ever .

Duct tape really works for warts!

I think it as to do with the deprival of oxygen, or at least something in the air that keeps it alive.

Dandelion sap works on some warts takes around 3 days apply about 4 times a day

I had warts as a kid and went swimming in the sea every day for about a week and they all disappeared

Iodine should be used for any skin infection as well as raw organic apple cider vinegar try and stick to this as the other apple cider vinegars are normally derived from crude coal tar

silymarin (milk thistle) is very good for skin problems as well

castor oil is also effective at killing foot fungus although I had to go swimming afterwards to finally get rid of it as the castor oil turned it yellow so I imagine it would work on the HPV virus

And Propolis would be great but don't buy this from the shops unless you know of a brand that has worked government regulations say that the propolis only has to have one PPM so if you can go directly to a bee keeper.

I surmise that your duct tape is doing the same thing that an lengthy wearing of a Band-Aide does. And that is to deaden the local skin and make the area white (if you are a cauc). I assume, that kills the virus also, deprives it of its sustenance.

I once had a small wart on my thumb that I would pick away at. It always came back until one time I got down to a reddish filament that went deeper into the skin. It was painful to remove it, but that was the end of the wart.

Just wanted to say I tried oregano oil too and it worked for me as well. Duct tape kept falling off and I would forget to wrap it up again. Oregano oil is definitely the way to go!

That is a very good point.

It's important to only apply a light coating, only to e the affected area, because the OO will affect the adhesive of the duct-tape.

Thanks
