My old thumper 1977 Yamaha XT 500
with a big bore kit, stage 2 race cam over sized valves, sprockets front and back much more. It was a blast on stoney twisty roads.
cant remember the times I crashed on this though LOL

Thats back in the day when bikes sounded and smelled like bikes, none of this 4 stroke stuff.
My bike,as much as I love it,sounds like an overgrown lawnmower.
LOL

All I have ever owned were dirt bikes and off road toys, this XT is my second...I used to own the same bike years ago and liked it so much I bought another and it has served me well.

Oh man! Nice Suzi 350. My first bike was a 1975 GT185. She was great! Real fun to zip around the city on.

Bad scan of my old ride, she was damn near as old as me !

I spent the whole weekend in the garage stripping her down, every nut and bolt, nearly lost my girlfriend at the time, "That bike means more to you than me", I can laugh about it now

She was right LOL, you guys judge if it was worth it

A few nice bikes here with a site this large I thought there would have been more pictures here,
I've been riding off and on most of my life, sadly I do not have a bike any longer. Maybe down the road

Yeah she's currently the biggest production bike in the world, 2.3 litre 3 cylinder engine, the pistons are about the same size as a dodge viper !!!

She tops out around the 150 mph mark, but man does she gets there rapid

I know I look silly on it, but to be honest I don't care, I just love the raw power.

You can read the specifications Here

She supposedly does 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds, but I'm too busy looking at the road and not my watch to time it LOL

Thanks cater, that was the roll out after the weekend I spoke of

Unfortunately not, that old Lightining was the love of my life for a few years, she rode like a dream but as all old British bikes were, she was a temperamental old thing, I know this sounds a bit daft, it's just a piece of machinery right ? ...........WRONG, she had a very jealous personality, always played up when the GF was on the back, but only ever the GF, every guy that got her never a problem.

You had to really understand her, you could tell what kind of ride you were going to get as soon as you'd tickled the carbs and fired her up.

That bike is currently still with the friend that bought her off me the same day I went to live abroad, and she is as gorgeous now, as she was all those years ago.

Oh and worth a small fortune LOL

The BSA is long gone to a friend, and the Triumph is a bit big for me to look cool on, but stuff it (see above)

I don't like motorcycles and I never plan to purchase or own one either. I enjoy fast cars with style and class to them. I don't like the sound of motorcycles and I'm not interested in motorcycle cultures either. I'm not overobsessed with my cars either, I don't understand how some dudes are. A car is a vehicle and that is how I use it, to get somewhere and look as good as I can doing it.

No my friend

That is the A65L or 650 Lightning, they came in various guises, there was the Lightning obviously, but also the Thunderbolt, the Spitfire and the one made for the US market the A65 Star.
