I have a couple of trans friends, but not a single one of them would want a piece of performance art to be banned from their local playhouse or auditorium, out of some misguided fear of upsetting them! They want the right to go about without people feeling free to abuse them in the street, not to infringe on the rights of artistes and patrons of the arts!
