I think partisan BS would have been avoided on this occasion... You know decency and all, I doubt any Rep or Fox admin would have wanted to be chastised over questioning the Head of the U.S. for showing sympathy & solidarity...

Now... He has fed the partisanship hundredfold than if he had been there...

Yes, this does not show that in anyway...
Of course that won't stop the leaps to be made.
Hence the picture already posted in the thread

Funny, terrorists denouncing terrorists. The difference is a suit and tie.

Are you being sarcastic or serious.

You can't see it, seriously?

Knowing this guy it's a fruit basket for everyone in France... 5.7 Billion dollars of Taxpayer money should cover it....

He should have gone... Period! .!
We were not under an attack yesterday, That could be forgiven. If we were Japan we would have to already Hari Kiri'ed ourselves like 500 times.

Yes I am being serious.

I agree he should have been there, but won't take his lack of being there as a sign of support to the lunatics that killed those people.

Seems like we are jumping lots of other possibilities there.

It didn't by pass my mind at all.

It's why I've slowed down on being overly aggressive about my opinion at this time of the Charlie shooting. I'm of the opinion it wasn't a ff.....but seeing all these cats together, I wonder.

.....planning goes into gathering like this, sometimes weeks of it...even when the venue is much smaller and there is far less security risk than a high profile like this.

Personally, I see him as at least a sympathiser & advisor to terror...

At worst he is completely complicit...

As much as I support Palestine, I don't think he is the man for the job.

Funny little thing though, he was only invited because the French told Netanyahu not to bother turning up...
When he insisted the French said "well if you come, we're inviting Abbas"...

Well I found it funny, anyways!

Thanks for the honest and to the point reply without hyperbole and all that jazz

We'll just have to agree to disagree on that one.....I'll leave it alone as I about about to go put some food in the stomach and don't want to debate it. I doubt we'll change each others minds' anyways.

I think I am inclined to agree.

The Charlie shooters were on American no fly lists.

French Intelligence stopped watching them.

They received training in Yemen.

One of the brothers spent time in jail on terrorism related charges.

Something smells afoul Watson.

I lean towards the position that they often let these "knowns" run amok, all the while being that little "guiding hand" in the background....capitalizing on the fallout...hell, even going as far as creating the fall out. Or at the very least, fostering an environment where the ideals of psychopaths become actions....

It's not just him it's all of them , can't believe a damn word they say .... and they wonder why we don't like them.

I don't know if that is where I was going with my statements, at least not at this time...

But, like you, I wouldn't put it past some of the absolute scum that exists on this planet to do just about any "shocking" thing.

Pretty poor form for the leader of the free world ,it was only a couple of days ago he was praising them as America's oldest ally.
Guess that don't mean much.

I agree, we americans get a good laugh with the cheese eating surrender monkey stuff, but honestly, when we really needed them, the noble french stepped up for us.

Sure it eas in their self interest, but step up they did.

Without french aid, this might not be our land, I like to think, like most americans otherwise, but we will never know because they did.

The least we could do is send biden, or secdef, or someone of note.

I dont even like big O, but do realize the threat was too high for him to be there, but we could have sent someone.

Holder was there, just wasn't in the march and we had an ambassador that did march.

America had a presence, it just wasn't barry.

Yeah we do owe the french.

The irony here of helping us win our revolution was one of the precursor's for theirs.
