No...again this is about "being stupid".

Let me say it simple.

I have a family and I pay most my bills with entertainment. If my next video was a cartoon of Mohammed...that would be a stupid thing to do.

MM

So, now you're personalizing it.

You have the freedom of choice not to draw a cartoon of Mohammed.

But, you want to deny choice to the cartoonists.

Why would you put out a cartoon to piss people off? You have to know that nothing good is going to come out of it. Not a peaceful way to deal with the situation and puts peoples lives on the line. The problem intensifies in nature because of it. The nut cases are already nuts. Why give them ammo? Come on man, you have to see the logic here.

Why can't I walk outside naked?

If you want to be a sniveling little coward and hide behind anonymity then don't bother. Free Speech is about being open with your ideas and beliefs, if you are too scared to express an idea then maybe it shouldn't be expressed at all.

Its horrible to believe that someone's beliefs lead them to take the life of another because of a cartoon. Its even worse that you cannot express your opinion without hiding who you are, you don't deserve free speech if you want to hide

Do you think Madalyn Murray O'Hare fought for the rights of Atheists just to piss people off?

Freedom from religion is as important as freedom of religion.

I have no responsibility to religious belief beyond that.

Is naked a belief?

Did they know the atheists wouldn't come in and shoot them? Do they keep up with current events? If they did, they would know the faction they were targeting were capable of killing 12. I say pick your battle better and maybe use a different way to express the same thing without using their messiah to do so. You know zealots don't like when you mess with the messiah.

What made who feel what way? There's a lot of stuff that could be covered there with those pronouns

And I hope i'm misreading you but it looks like you're advocating a war of annihilation against an entire faith of people there. I can't be sure because, well, it's the internet after all. Am i mistaken? Were you just kind of stream-of-consciousness typing there?

I am NOT in anyway required to honor, abide by, or accept ANY religious ideology ---- for any reason.

Other then they have the right to believe.

They do NOT have the right to kill those who do not accept their belief and/or those who have their own views of religion.

More important and powerful than any profane picture/depiction of Mohammed are the political satire cartoons that came after the Charlie Hebdo massacre.

One doesn't have to stoop to the level of religious trollery to make an intellectual point. I particularly loved the one depicting the broken pencil...which then became two pencils...

Jesus preached turning the other cheek. Ghandi and King preached non-violence.

Why?

Because it is the one true path to ending hate. It simply works.

Just keep killing brown people, I'm sure you'll figure it out. You can find out sooner if you slander the Prophet Mohamed.

Yet, still people died. That's what they can't grasp. Don't poke the #ing hornets nest. If you do, at least get better security. I mean how hard can it be? Hey I know, lets poke fun at their messiah and stir the cauldron. It'll get them really pissed! After all we do have the right to offend anyone we want. Keep driving the story home so the masses get angrier and if a few have to die in the process, we'll call it collateral damage. I think you missed a few. Better cause some # to get public opinion on our side. When they declare war on all of religion we are in it to win it. we'll use you like the pawns you are to further the agenda. We don't even have to nudge you in the right direction anymore. You're all set. Lock and load the hate machine!

Answering Islam?

LOL...

One of the only places you won't find any answers to Islam!

Many many many well known and credible Muslim scholars don't just doubt that hate filled propaganda, they deny it!!!

So much so do I deny it, there is no way of finding out who first made that ridiculous claim...

So far, & I'm not singling you out, you are the only person who has mentioned this about Aisha that I actually respect on ATS...
No one else who did was worthy of a response!

That's exactly what we get.

You remarks suggest that permitting the implementation of fear to achieve a goal is fine by you.
I have nothing to say to that. If you choose to live a life in fear, that's your business...
My beliefs stand with the idea that the freedom to say whatever you God damn please is like
the immovable mountain.

Someone who takes offense to another person's words, not their actions mind you, is a threat
to freedom itself. If someone's beliefs don't agree with mine then the consensus is agreeing to
disagree. As soon as a force is exerted outside that realm - then we simply must do what we have
to in order to preserve peace.

Is there a flaw in this logic I fail to see??

No, whoever drew the comic did and a few who were in the same building. I wouldn't do that, so I don't get # out of it. Tally up the festering ills of the whole situation and come up with a solution. I'd love to hear yours.

People were born in the wrong place at the wrong time. When the world is competing for resources, the peasants don't matter. Pity the misguided souls only use ignorance instead of the real honest to god truth to get things done. They have help from the civilized world in the form of hate speech. What a motivator!
