They are the magazine’s editor and cartoonist, Stéphane Charbonnier, known as Charb; Bernard Maris, an economist and writer and the magazine’s deputy editor; and three more cartoonists: Jean Cabu, Georges Wolinski and Bernard Verlhac, known as Tignous.
Five other staff at the magazine are believed to be among the 12 dead.
Also killed were two police officers. They have not yet been named.
#####, a designer known as #####, has told L’Humanité that she was forced to let the attackers into the Charlie Hebdo building. She said:
I had gone to pick up my daughter from daycare. Arriving at the door of the newspaper building, two hooded and armed men brutally threatened us.
They wanted to enter, go up. I typed the code. They shot Wolinski, Cabu ... it lasted five minutes ... I had taken refuge under a desk ...
They spoke French perfectly ... claiming to be al-Qaida.

Despair all you want.. In light of dear leader coming out against the first amendment when it comes to this evil religion the low life president is part of the conversation and what transpired in Paris. His absurd hesitation at calling this terrorism is also further proof he sides with this religion of peace.
Historically this low life president has a history of blaming the first amendment for death. Remember the video that was blamed for the massacre at one of our embassies? Oh lets not mention that..
Obama does his damnedest to blame anyone but the perpetrators. He is part of the conversation..
Correction.. He is part of the conversation for those that don't worship at the feet and refuse to question the absurdity of dear leader..
For the rest, they will face palm in the face of logic and history..
Radio France, Le Monde and France Télévisions have put out a statement saying they will offer staff and other support to help the Charlie Hebdo magazine “continue to live”.
They invite all French media to do the same, “to defend the principles of independence, freedom of thought and expression, the guarantors of our democracy”.

According to Sky news armed men have just raided the offices of French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo and shot 10 people dead.
This paper portrayed the prophet mohammad with a bomb tucked neatly into his headress.
This is perhaps a controversial subject however, its really about freedom of speech and do we allow immigrant islamists to run our countries by force of gun and murder.
I hope the French take a seriously dim view of this and act fast and furiously against this murder.
The paper was firebombed in 2013 and we have to ask ourselves do these cultures mix favourably or not. In the UK we have always taken the rise out of our top brass and the church - do we want this servile attitude forced on us which is against our cultural background?
Why should be make changes and be blackmailed by religious thugs. Is Islmaisation acceptable to you?

Not to be 'conspiratorial' but if you look at the original footage of the police officer being shot, there's no blood coming from him. After a volley of 8 shots, he is apparently down.
Then he apparently gets shot in the head. His head doesn't react to a point blank range impact, and there is no blood after THAT.
Can someone maybe explain why that would be? There's no a single drop on the cement. I just thought it was odd. Not saying it didn't happen.
