But you are probably correct about it. Teetering old fools fall and when they are that age, they break bones. What I tend to doubt about the story is that he was working out when it happened. He reminds me of Mr. Burns from the Simpsons.

He is old....

Some old people have issue with randomly falling and being old they bruise / break much easier. The only thing that could have made this story better is if his insurance didn't covered the medical bills.

Reid needs to retire.

I highly doubt this little Nazi even exercises anything but his pen. I would love to see the video of him getting hurt. He needs to be dealt this every day for what he has and is doing to America.

I didn`t see any reason to read the story it`s probably all lies anyway, when I read the headline my mind immediately translated it to:
Reid got drunk at a news year party and fell down while chasing a hooker around his hotel room.

my version of the story is probably much closer to the truth than the official version.

This is someone that was hit with a big right. Accident? Guess they expect us to believe anything.

The wound looks similar to the last time he fell or what ever it was. Wonder if it's an undisclosed medical condition.

Not wishing it, simply seeing it as poetic justice. BTW, criminals come in all ages, genders and flavors ;-) Maybe if there was a little more accountability, transparency, legitimate investigations, etc., it might be a good thing. Keep them (career or otherwise) politicians in line. From what I know of 'ole Harry (from available research) concerning his direction, the damage he's apparently done, voting record and his allegedly questionable associates, he needs to be properly investigated for numerous felony charges as well as possibly treason. But that's just my opinion ;-)

Oh, and BTW, if by wishing harm you meant that I hoped he would be charged and tried for felony, felony conspiracy and treason, yep, you got it right ;-)

He probably fell onto or got in the way of something moving that curiously looked like a clenched right hand. I understand that clenched right hands do have the "right of way."

Someone on page 1 of this thread produced the theory that he was possibly chasing a hooker on New Years Eve and fell, I like that theory, it keeps it classy ;-) But I doubt that hobbling old criminal, er.... I mean old coot, could chase a hooker around unless he got the new Darth Vader branded, Cheney model, turbine heart pump.
