Ohhhh. Wow. OK. That's pretty cool.

It's just too big in file size. I tried shrinking to avatar dimensions and removing half the frames and it's still over 200k.

AB's HI!!(waves)
Those pics were taken on my morning stroll just a half mile from my home!
I LOVE it here. It's a tiny wee village out in the countryside, but still only 5 minutes from the supermarket if we need supplies!
I'll try and dig out another couple of photos for you...
This is it in winter...

Cheers!

Hey guys, I have been on these forums for quite a while now and I have been using this same old ass avatar for god knows how long. I just graduated Friday and my degree was in live show production. I am specializing in lighting for concert applications and would like an avatar that represents that. I also have been disliking how my current avatar has the lame grey background, cause I was a noob at the time and had no clue how to make one fit the whole box that is my avatar space. If someone feels up to the task I would love to get something going on that is more fitting to myself. I am a huge fan of lighting designers such as saxton waller. The whole EDM lighting scene is what I'm all about and the more intense and colorful the better. Something like the recent nebula pics but with lights instead is kinda what I'm going for. I would get this done myself but I don't have photoshop and I do not wish to pirate software I may be tempted to use for profession applications lol… Anyone up to it?

RickyD you made my day with your joy !

lighting used to be up my alley once upon a time, i used to own a few lights and a box and would go on tour all around australia with a few sydney bands . coloured gels and gaffa tape were my best accessories - great times those were ! but your gig looks like really juicy. go for it RickyD !!

you could send us some more of your photos and we could make you more avatars. we could fill your filing cabinet for rotation.

Those are actually images from a Saxton Waller show...he is one of my favorite Lighting designers. I am still a newbie to the industry, but I will link up a video of a light show I designed during my time at Fullsail. I am going out into the industry again now with a degree and a specialization... Probably gonna be starting from the bottom as a tech and work my way up. However I have a plan to start my own company and have a friend who has been feeding me some great inside info into the industry. Seems there is some pieces of gear that I have pretty good knowledge about building that get rented so much the bigger production houses run out often and rent from anywhere they can get it. Of course they don't turn down gigs for lack of gear...they just rent whatever they don't have. So I'll build my name up by freelancing and trying to build up my investment as well as taking limited outside investment to procure the gear that is most used. Then while working and providing friends with gigs under my LLC I will be pulling capital in from rentals. Eventually I'd like to end up with a nice little stock of gear and my own business doing what I love...making people oooh, and awww at the pretty colors. I just need to get my foot in the door and get things rolling. 1-2 investors and about 20-30k oughtta make it easier to get the jump, but the reputation and connections will be the key to making it all work. Wish me luck!

that's what i used to do. renting out the equipment, but i used to mainly rent to young and upcoming bands playing around the inner city scene during the week. only once my gear made it to the opera house as minor addition, that was because i was friends with the sound engineer. yes, it pays to have your network strong.

i searched a bit about saxton waller. not bad. i'm so exited still about light. even lightning or moon light get me in awe. the solar garden lights i set up around my place are the only gigs i get involved in nowadays, but they get me just as creative. i guess light design of exhibitions are my favorites now.

please do link us to the show you worked on !!

now you made me reminisce now i wish i had never sold my equipment.

i do wish you all the best of luck, good opportunities and diligent planing.

Hi guys
Got a spare few minutes before work, just checking in .

Mother in law lands (broomstick willing) in 5 hours got the garlic spread around the flat and silver bullets loaded.

Mother in law zombie apocalypse avoidance kit is ready to go, bug out bag prepared.

Wish me luck

Somebody suggested that I use this pic as an avatar. The quality isn't good because my camera is a cheap one. Could any of you pic wizards please fix it and make it into an avatar? Thanks in advance.

Hi Skid!
I've only got time to do a very quick job on this - Might do to tide you over until one of the maestros can get their teeth into it?

I'm away for the weekend now.... Have a good one everyone!!

I seem to have gained weight. Would someone be kind enough to adjust my clothes...outward?
