I was thinking of a way to poke back against the whole 5 year old boy remark. It wasn't meant as a personal attack, which is why I changed it, obviously.

It's also a case in point of displaying the exact thing that the OP was talking about: Without meaningful moderation on the internet, people become very ugly with the words they choose to use... if they were allowed to do just that.

But considering your response is on page 22 and this thread so far is only up to page 24 so far. I do believe you may be exaggerating a bit there on the whole misogynists knuckle dragging from 30 pages ago. That is unless you somehow got a time machine and went into the future to when we get to page 30 and over, then came back in time to inform us poor page 24ers of all the knuckle dragging going on.

What makes you think I'm overly sensitive to it? I get it... you think dudes should be able to say anything rude and disgusting, but I shouldn't be able to say that it's rude and disgusting because my 60$ drop and 15$/month thereafter means less than theirs. I don't report them but I don't tolerate it either. I generally put people on ignore but if I feel like it I'll call them on their BS, they in turn can put me on ignore if they don't like it.

Let's not even talk about how there's something obviously mentally wrong with people, any people that troll or try to intentionally offend or bully. You may want to be lazy and try to play it off as boys being boys and if that's how you want people to perceive men that's on you but you're doing a great disservice to men by participating or condoning it.

People should be able to say anything they want. That doesn't mean they should expect automatic agreement or silence in lieu of agreement. If you say something disgusting such as after finding out I'm a woman in YOUR game that you're going to rape me and then graphically describe how you're going to do this... I get to say that you're a disgusting pig and that there's something wrong with you. That isn't playing around, it's not joking and it isn't funny and typically that's a violation of any games T&C that YOU agreed to when you created an account. Typically I wouldn't report you, I'd either put you on ignore or engage while you continue to prove what a turd you are.

I didn't need a correction, the context of our banter is you thinking men should be able to be assholes without repercussion and me rejecting that notion. Saying dudes wasn't sexist, it was appropriate. You are batting zero in trying to change people's words around them. You might want to give it up.
