I was all prepared for failure but this is great news.

There does seem to be some concern about the telemetry, because (as I can surmise from just watching the video) the altitude reading has not updated after landing. From their chatter amongst themselves, it seems the telemetry says they are down, but the altitude reading is still an old one saying they are still above the surface.

Hopefully just a data glitch.

it's down...What way up though..??

I think the touchdown confirmation is supposed to be "anchors planted on surface".

could still be on it's side/roof though.?

Very cool!! I missed the celebratory stuff on the livestream by (quite literally) about 15 seconds
But I'm glued to it now, watching & listening. Who'da thunk we'd be living in an age of such space exploration where humans would land a probe on a comet? Kinda mindblowing

Annnd thanks to the power of suggestion, that makes two of us. Thanks Cranial

I absolutely can't wait for the data to start flowing back our way from this. There's bound to be some fascinating things uncovered.
