UFO Over City In Canada

I just drove my wife to work this morning and captured this "UFO" on my iPhone. Video was taken in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada "South East End". Sorry for the dust/smudge on the top left hand side of the camera/video. So anyways this happened around 8:30am this morning and looked like it was at least 200 meters + above the ground. It was definitely not a kite because I ended up chasing it more than 5 miles southeast of the city but could not get any closer to it because of the morning rush. Please let me know what you guys think it is. Only thing I could think of was a balloon/group of balloons but I am not positive.

That is a pretty awesome video you got there, if that thing isn't on some long thin pole as an antenna or something (I can't check I'm watching on my phone) I'd say it's one of the best videos I've seen in a while. Could be a drone but I don't see any lights or copters attached to it. either way good video there man!

Great video !

puts me in mind of a vid of a slowly rotating cylindrical UFO with black on white protuberances hovering over the ocean I once saw.

However, when you see it zoomed out and the way it's moving against the clouds, looks an awful lot like a Chinese wish lantern or equivalent.

You're in Winnipeg ..... It's just the Blue Bombers crashing ....

Video or it didn't happen...oh wait, never mind.

It looked fairly stationary, and I don't think it's a balloon/group of balloons. Good find! S + F

I believe it's the quality of the video on Youtube. The original does not have the object vanish.. I believe it's most likely a YouTube "rendering issue". I really wish I had a better camera laying around for this one.. Even a set of binoculars would have been awesome!

I was just looking at some photos of my parents vacation in Canada and came across something very strange in one of the images. I immediately registered here to share it but I can’t seem to start a new thread. Is it because I’m new?

nice catch , it looks to be stationary object, but i still think its a weather balloon .

My daughter reported a Bunch of ufos doing acrobatics in the Toronto area about a 2 weeks ago, seems to ramping up here in Canada. She said they were visible for about 15 minutes.

This is a great capture of a 'ufo'.

I'm glad you zoomed in and out so we could see the tree line, and the height of the store, so with that information, perhaps the exerts can judge the size of it?.

Also when you zoom out we see a bird fly past, so we can roughly guesstimate the size of the object too.

I had a good laugh at myself: I was leaning towards bird, then a real bird flew by.....

Did the object move at all?

Looks like a solid cylinder shape. It could be a balloon. Then again I myself saw a cylinder-shaped UFO which flew really, really fast without making any sounds. So I know there's more cylinder shaped stuff than just balloons flying out there.
