Looks like my last post was in a foreign language to some... unbelievable haha

Nope it was pretty clear, but again I ask how can Russia say anything about global peace considering what they have pulled lately, especially with it's countries that left them.

You right it is unbelievable, because Russia does exactly what your condemning the US for doing.

Lavrov mentioned in an interview this picture from the internet:

You do understand that map is not real nor is it even close, as it has been shown in other threads this pic was posted, it has countries painted as NATO countries that aren't so why would you or him use it, unless it is for propaganda sake?

You're moving closer to Russia and blame Russians for being close to NATO

Interesting how RT takes the question and tries to make you think the person answering questions said it when he didn't.

The full speech. Turn off your left speaker to eliminate the confusing Russian/English each in an ear issue.

While the speech opens up basically spearing the US and its role internationally, the speech is largely discussing Russia's involvement with Crimea and Ukraine. My guess is that the opener is to undermine the US's position and questioning motive. Lavrov then compares his own country's actions as more harmonizing and then, turns the speech as to what should be and what shouldn't be, reminding back to the barbs launched at the US.

Nice and graphic amateur work from internet.

US State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki and Pentagon Press Secretary Rear Adm. John Kirby have been challenged over the Department of Defense's claims that the US must “deal” with “modern and capable” Russian armed forces on NATO's doorstep.

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu expressed “grave concern” and “surprise” at a Wednesday speech made by US Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel during the Association of the United States Army’s annual conference. Hagel declared that US armed forces "must deal with a revisionist Russia - with its modern and capable army - on NATO's doorstep.”

Kirby was confronted by AP journalist Matt Lee over NATO expansion closer to the Russian borders at the State Department's daily press briefing on Thursday.

The cold war is over. Why doesn't Russia join NATO. They were allies with the west in WW2. If you can't beat them join them. Why do they have to see the west as the enemy and vice versa it's stupid.

Both Gorbachov and Yeltsin went begging to Brussels to join NATO but were firmly REFUSED.

Russia in turn formed its own alliance CSTO which includes Belarus and Kazakhastan plus few other former Soviet republics.

It is also possible that SCO might form into a military alliance soon comprising also of China, India and Iran.

Care to provide a source?

The source is in this thread on two different videos. One a video of the UN speech, and the other a video of the press statement with the general and Jen Saki. They even stumble over their words trying to respond to the question.
