Well, if we do the math:
Assuming one infected Ebola patient in the UK today . . .
Assuming a propagation of doubling every 25 days . . .
76 days remaining in the year
That means we will see an average population doubling 3 times prior to new years eve.
1 * 2 = 2
2 * 2 = 4
4 * 2 = 8
This is assuming only a single case in the UK today, if there is one. Of course, if there is more than one in the UK today, these numbers will adjust
accordingly.
If there are currently 2 cases in the UK . . .
2 * 2 = 4
4 * 2 = 8
8 * 2 = 16
