"Public Schools Introduce Islam" In Mississippi

This is a video made by Paul Begley, saying they are teaching his daughter Islam in school. How can this even be legal, and they should also teach Christianity as well.

I would like to know what your opinions are on this ? I do not like it at all, I would pull my child out of that class.

I have nothing against learning about all religions, but as the video states, it seems to be unbalanced in that the class only teaches about Islam.

They aren't teaching his kid about Islam he claims some woman sent to him. Then for the rest of the video he whines that Christianity isn't being taught in schools. He got this off facebook which is well known for accuracy. Just because they are learning about it doesn't mean they are being converted to follow Islam. When I was in school we were taught about all different kinds of religions it doesn't violate the law because they are just teaching it they are not practicing it. We were taught about the Nazis in school but we didn't kill Jews for the final exam.

Islam will invade all aspects of American society. The schools with your children's impressionable little minds is the perfect inroad.

Where are the pictures of the crucifixion and the bible?? There are no assignments like that because they are illegal.
They have prayer rooms in some schools for muslims, totally illegal. They need to get some imam away from recruiting beheaders and issue a fatwa so the kids can do double prayers when they get home.
Separation of Church and State, upheld by the Supreme Court, get this crap out of the schools.

Schools should teach a comparative religions class, but the religious types will not like that. Hey, my religion forbids mathematics, so school children aren't allowed to learn math. See how well that plays out? Religion is a part of history. Should we outlaw all discussion about the civil war or slavery because those things are also offensive? How about let's not talk about Hitler because maybe that will offend someone.

You're making a lot of assumptions based on a single YouTube video. The very next assignment might have been about Christianity and learning its concepts and symbolism. The best way to teach a young kid about symbolism is by having them draw pictures.

Everything you're calling "totally illegal" is actually allowed under current laws so you might want to do a little research. Separation of Church and State says that there will be no official religion, it has nothing to do with what is taught to kids. Again, teaching and attempting to convert are not the same thing, regardless what you try to claim. By your logic, kids shouldn't be taught Greek and Roman Mythology because they might convert.
