The 14 Creepiest Things Kids Have Said About Their “Imaginary Friends”

Working doubles, so no time to reply to each one (sleeping as late as possible), but I'm reading as I have my coffee (just woke up). Reading these is a great way to get the brain cells stirring!

When I was a very young child I had dreams about red eyes in the dark
Never had imaginary friends that I remember.
When my daughter was three she told my wife a story about little men who visited her at night.
She said that their eyes glowed red in the dark.

Oh I have heard of sleep paralysis, this was more like temporary paralysis, and like I said this happened to me a few times and with the same sort of vibe. Like I said its unimportant, in all it went from comical, to bizarre, to scary, which is weird because while I was scared, I would not say I was terrified.

In fact I was more pissed of then anything or any other feeling I can think of, because for that brief moment when it overtook me with the whole fear paralysis thing. I just wanted to get up and clock whoever or whatever it was in the head but it all disappeared when I finally got up, and whats more I hate sneaky people be they real flesh and blood people, or of my imagination, or some entity from some other realm, I really dont care, I will not put up with it.

In reading that link, I see the author tried to talk to there bizarre paralysis entity friend dream thing whatever, and they wrote that when they tried to not be frightened and talk to it, nothing really happened and whatever the thing was or dream was about it would just fade away. So ya I would say since they only come around or it only happens in that situation its something other then just a regular dream.

In all whatever it was about, its probably some bizarre dream I had, and its far from the weirdest one I had. But if like you said its some other entity doing this, then what can I say. What we have here is a failure to communicate, it must be some sort of weirdo ghost whatnot who sucks at getting things through in a clear message, to bad I cant go to were it sleeps and mess around with it. Believe you me, I to could be all sneaky and # if that's the way it wants to play. Its like I am being haunted by some sort of dyslexic infantile inter dimensional ghost with speech problems, whatever happened to just saying hello, and telling me what the funk they want? And really there are plenty of those in real life dont need them in my dreams as well.

But anyways like I said, just another dream, some of the real bizarre ones I have fade real fast come morning. I used to write them down sometimes because they literally disappear when I go to the bathroom some minutes latter. And you know what they say, life is a dream, one from which one day you will wake up and walk away. In all its not that different from when you wake from dreaming every morning and walk away to do you daily routines. Just another cycle in the veils.

Interesting stuff! That is about as much as I can say on the subject because I don't know whether to believe it or not, when it comes to children or mediums seeing people/spirits. I..... I just don't know!

I once lived with an ex girlfriend who had a daughter from a previous relationship, who said that a girl with a red coat came home with her from school every day. There was no girl matching the description at the school, and she said that she used to chat with her a lot on the way home. The girl always wore the same heavy coat, winter or summer.

She always refused to come into the house when she got there, the daughter reported that she could often see her on the deck when we were inside, but she would never come in. We just wrote it off as an imaginary friend as we never saw her.

I have a friend who is a psychic (a proper one!). The first time he visited (it was several months after we moved in) he took one step in the house and said "wow, who's kid died in here"? We did some research in the local press, when we found a picture of the kid, my girlfriends daughter was absolutely stunned and horrified and said "yeah, that's my friend I walk home from school with every day".

Ghosts are out there.

LOL! You are correct. It is difficult sometimes for ghosts/spirits to get the right message to come through, especially one that hasn't been crossed over too long; they have to learn.
This is why some mediums have trouble giving the right message: the spirit has "failed to communicate" properly.

Living people scare me more than a ghost! You have to depend on your physical self defense abilities, and some people don't have any knowledge in that area. I do have training, but I'm getting up in years, so I don't know how well I could fight off a man twice my size now. Guess that's when a gun would come in handy.
At least with a ghost it only takes a strong mind to tell them to "get out", if need be.

Do we all have imaginary friends ? I don't remember having one. My earliest memory is hearing a evil voice while waking up scaring me and my mother rushing in to see what was wrong and why i was crying and screaming.

I suppose that's one way to look at it, an interesting theory. But I will leave it at just being a wierd dream. I got a few theories on why this happened, or happens, and how. Its like a stupid cat and mouse game, but anyways if and when it happens again, I shall see then.

Probably because she was still young enough to have her natural born psychic abilities, and you had "outgrown" yours. Children experience and see things from the spirit world much easier than adults.
