I have no illusion about Moscow's in your face approach. However, Just remember, All that glitters is not gold. In fact I'd say it's a facade for the gullible.

Also, how can you sit there and write that Russia wants 'Historical accuracy" when they've systematically dismantled freedom of the press and other hard won gains during the Soviet downfall by either shutting down or nationalizing News papers, Interweb sites, TV and Radio stations which most of the time, if not all, were critical of Mother Russia?

Oh and by the way, The West didn't invent being 'Deceptive'

Putin is former KGB and knows full well how to employ deceptive tactics to achieve a specific goal. Those who blindly praise him for being deceptive like a fox seem to be clueless and fail to realize that they themselves may have fallen for some of his 'Praised' fox like deceptions.

Something to chew on.

So Russia shouldn`t protect itself to end up just like Syria, Libya, Ukraine, Egypt, etc...?

Yes, there`s a reason Russia is doing those things, why not bitch about The West who forces them to do so ?

You are the one insisting on portraying everything as black or white. I acknowledge that there are violent ultra-nationalists on the Kyiv side. You refuse to acknowledge that there are violent ultra-nationalists fighting for the separatists. You condemn Kyiv for fighting to retain its territory, yet you seem to applaud Putin for using genocidal violence to reatin Chechniya. I intend to keep bumping this thread so that everyone can see how much anti-Semitic supremacist fascists* love and admire Putin.

* In other words, Nazis.

I see neither being critical of Russia. I wouldn't Trust RFE/RL anymore than I do VOA.

Funny that RT 'The official Russian mouthpiece' shows 'Clashes' or the negative side.

So you failed with the Putin = Hitler fallacy and found another stick to hit with and will keep using that ?

Oh yeah, and don`t forget to point out to "anti-Semitic supremacist fascists" in every post, so people will swallow your propaganda in the end.

Funny that anyone who want can march in Moscow under "dictatorship", but in "democratic" "european" "ukraine" it is forbidden, but hours later "neoliberal" right sector can pull down a statue, beat (and kill) defenders of the statue with official (western backed) support.

If Russia has helped, it actual stopped the violence.

It was Kiev with help of NATO advisers who attacked Eastern Ukraine immediately and didn`t even try to find a political solution.

Kiev wasn`t able to win, they couldn`t take Donetsk and Luhansk, so they simply started to shell those cities and its civilians.

So why would there be a protest against Russia...?

I never asserted that Putin=Hitler. That is a lie and you know it. I did, however, prove that Putin was using tactics similar to Hitler's. You agreed.

Why? Your repeating Ukrainian Nazis in every post didn't get anyone to swallow your propaganda, did it?

Agreed

It's a mess.

How about all sides leave them alone to work out their own mess?

Besides, Communism is dead why are people fighting and dying over a stupid obsolete statue which represents a collapsed archaic oppressive State/Ideology in the first place?

Why do you keep forgetting about the Russian troops in the streets of Crimea? The rioting in Donetsk?

Why do you keep forgetting about

...the "snipered" euromaidan revolution in Kiev in February?

Rioting or referendum? The junta answer was sending in troops. Remember?

Plan B was also simple: get Russia to intervene militarily in the Donbass and use that as a pretext for a full-scale Cold War v2 which would create 1950's style tensions between East and West, justify fear-induced policies in the West, and completely sever the growing economic ties between Russia and the EU. Except that plan also failed - Russia did not take the bait and instead of intervening directly in the Donbass, she began a massive covert operation to support the anti-Nazi forces in Novorussia. The Russian plan worked, and the Junta Repression Forces (JRF) were soundly defeated by the Novorussian Armed Forces (NAF) even though the latter was suffering a huge deficit in firepower, armor, specialists and men (gradually, Russian covert aid turned all these around).

That was the majority of the Ukrainians actual wanted, but if you have read the OP, you can see this isn`t about Ukraine, but about Russia/China and US/EU world domination, just like Syria, Libya, Georgia, Iraq, etc. have been.

Coded anti Semitism. Hitler also blamed the Jews for all the woes of the world. Sad to see some the old tricks are alive and well in some people's minds and in Russia.

You mean the triumph of the people over Putin's quislings and the small group of fascists who tried to split the East off and deliver it to Putin? We could do this all day. Please stop pretending that you are objective.Every time you misuse the word "junta" you give yourself away. You still have not repudiated any of the things Putin has done that you condemn in the Kyiv government. You are not objective, you are a hypocrite.

Own mess? Ask Nuland about it...

in Kiev a regime controlled by the oligarchs has been replaced by a regime of oligarchs

Simple people just didn't wanted to pull down a statue which survived the falling of Soviet Union and is (was) part of their town and their lives, and the junta nazis don't know the history: Lenin "invented" Ukraine in 1922...

But we know from history: nazis can only destroy...

When the fifteenth word in an OP is "Anglo-Zionist," MOSSAD intervention is unnecessary. The rabid anti-Semitism speaks for itself.
