Thank god i'm a chubby chaser , the first
world would seem lonely without that instinct.

Did the aliens ever consider their plan might backfire,
a lot of guys like a girl with a bit of meat on her bones,
we might just fight harder because we finallly
have someone that isn't out of cosmo that we're
actually attracted to.

Uhhh...wow.
I guess the maps gave you some great vacation spots.
Big girls need love, too.
My dad used to say go for the big ones, they get it Half as much, so they'll "love" you twice as hard. Funny, my mother is thin. My head hurts, it's almost 3. Good enough.

But great hypothesis, OP. And you never know. Collusion between the Illuminati and aliens? How many fat kids disappear every year compared to thin ones? Maybe they are the hors d'oeuvres...

Not totally. We eat white potatoes and rice. My kids and I are intolerant to dairy so we definitely do not eat that. We still eat wheat, but only minimally. We don't buy bread or cereals. We only bake it ourselves if we eat wheat (but it still has it side effects on us).

I have done 2 months on the paleo diet and it was THE BEST I have ever felt! My cholesterol got in the good range, my thyroid levels jumped to the hyper side and had to have my dosage of thyroid meds lowered, and my mind felt SO clear and I had lots of energy. I ate lots of meat, fats, fruits, and vegetables!

I fell off of it when I got pregnant with my 3rd child. Now, I am trying to get back into the habit!

Not to mention...my kids' behavior and overall health is great without all of the wheat.

No, the biggest lobbyists in DC, the pharmceuticals, are fattening us up in conjunction with our wonderful govt. We'll therefore purchase more drugs for diabestes, high bp, etc. The US is one-fifth of the world's population, yet purchase 50% of all prescription drugs.

300,000,000 is one fifth of 6 billion?
Anyway, once read a science fiction tale of why there are very little dino bones about, seems that aliens arrived, slaughtered all the big and medium sized dino's, and carted off the cut up carcasses, for the meat.

If by aliens you mean King Corn and the FDA, not to mention the war on saturated fat...then yes.

Fat people don't live that long, less burden on government resources.
Obvious.

I know what you mean but in my first reply it's out of experience. I'm a guy who's built like a bull from years of hiking, outdoor activities, lifting, etc and I'm still chunky. Meanwhile my gf is a stick, not Cosmo thin but skinny.

If something major happens, most overweight (I mean very overweight) people would run into problems. Dehydration is easier, fatigue, muscle pains. Various health problems on top of that.

As a whole, the nations that feature obesity are not built to physically question the powers in a long term situation. For many of them it'll be rough in the beginning if they have to get their own food, relocate on foot, all the tasks it takes to be safe.

Our ancestors were less reliant on the structure for food, fuel and everyday items. Usually they were built more ruggedly, able to work for hours on end doing backbreaking manual labor, etc. If we rebel, we have our reliance on the system going against us as well as many people who will be physically unable to meet the requirements of self-sufficiency.

Too comfortable to rebel in a nutshell.

GMO's appeared in nearly ALL processed food in the late 1980's. That correlates with the time frame of when obesity and type 2 diabetes dramatically increased.

Other countries have banned GMO's because their scientific studies show they cause cancer, obesity, damage to all major organs, and many other problems. We are led to believe that these countries have stupid or biased scientists, though, because American scientists have proven that GMO's, Roundup, etc. are perfectly safe.

We've been told that there are too many people on the planet, so a few million people dying because of corporate greed shouldn't be a problem.

Faulty drugs kill untold numbers. Faulty car designs kill untold numbers. I think of all the years it takes for people screaming foul before anybody is ever held accountable, and all the billions in profit they have made in the meantime.

Greed will ALWAYS trump life on the political and corporate level.

Good approach, using aliens to gain attention on this pressing matter.

It's a combo of factors, many mentioned already. The growing epidemic, still has known cause.

I believe e a big factor is medications that cause weight gain:
"With 70 Percent of Americans on Medication, Have We Become a Pill Culture?"-Mainstream Source

Nearly seven out of 10 Americans were prescribed at least one drug in 2009, and half were given two or more, according to new research from the Mayo Clinic. The most commonly prescribed drugs were antibiotics, antidepressants, and painkilling opioids, according to the study, published this week in the journal Mayo Clinic Proceedings.

To add to it, many antidepressants are known to cause weight gain.

The other more controversial is, the laziness factor, so to speak.
We're seeing a shift to cellphone use for the net now instead of just computers, but that minuses certain gaming. That may be changing but there's the said issue, that seems more and more apparent: the entitlement- lazy culture.

Coupled with loss of jobs(of people who want to work) due to a poor economy, perhaps many are getting used to not having employment opportunities, dropped out.

Those darn Zeta Reticulians!!

We are a "fast food nation," that's for sure! The US puts too much focus on work and the future but not enough focus on the here and now and health. People work 40+ hours per week then go home and "work" some more. Easy way to get dinner, fast food. Quick lunch? Fast food!

If someone was to get a fast food meal, once a day for let's say 5 days since that's the average workweek:

Monday: McDonalds Big Mac Meal (burger, fries and soda)
Calories: 1010
Fat: 43
Sodium: 1150
Carbs: 130

Tuesday: BK Whopper meal value size:
Calories: 990
Fat: 47
Sodium: 1390
Carbs: 123

Wednesday: Wendy's Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger meal value size:
Calories: 1060
Fat: 48
Sodium: 1330
Carbs: 130

Thursday: Taco Bell burrito supreme, 2 soft tacos and a Mountain Dew blast:
Calories: 950
Fat: 34
Sodium: 2140
Carbs: 129

Friday: In-N-Out Cheeseburger, fries and vanilla shake:
Calories: 1445
Fat: 76
Sodium: 1545
Carbs: 160

Grand Totals: Wow!!
Calories: 5455
Fat: 248
Sodium: 7555
Carbs: 672

The above really puts things in to perspective for me. That's just one week and one meal of fast food per day. Just think of all the people eating this garbage for all 3 meals. Heck, Taco Bell is now recommending "fourth meal."

When I stopped drinking soda and quit eating fast food, I lost about 20 pounds and no longer get asked when the baby's due. I also have far more energy and my hair and skin is much healthier.

Americans need to start paying more attention on what they're putting in to their bodies.

At last someone has noticed. It has to be an alien plot! We move less, we eat more. People are much less active, we sit at jobs, we sit at computers, we drive to work. Imho I think our eating more is related to anxiety. Food it is a great drug, very comforting, very calming.

It has always been my belief, when aliens come, we will be on the menu. Soft pink bags of portable water, easy to carry, disposable. Ecofriendly! :-D.

I'm betting the areas showing the greatest weight gain are also the areas that eat the most processed foods, and likely have the largest number of fast food outlets.

GMO. And some of the junk food. And poverty. Not affording big boxes of organic produce and fruit and grains.

Ever watch the show Supernatural, so much of the world in it, you have to cancel out any spells and rituals in there. Its still a catchy show, and reveals the world more or less in masonic and black op terms. The angels which aren't all that angelic seem like black ops and annanuki types, ET thrown in. The demons, well Crowley is the king of hell in a few seasons. And season 7 goes on about the Leviathin, biblical beast term, and they run US, and solyvent green, fattening up the cattle. And how they were willing to cut Crowley a deal and give him Canada. Well some of that family moved here.

My eyes popped open and jaw dropped and so had to go back and watch the whole show, noticed wierd skin bleeding conditions (ebola? smallpox?) and plans for the horsemen, the weaponized diseases, and lots of beheading monsters, ie co-creational bringing this in. Its always like a spell the way they make shows. Put the sleeping gods in boxes, and suspend their belief. You always get pulled into shows. Drone on and on in emotional soap opera converstations that make you "feel". Well, Belief and Emotion is co-creation. Its the nature of Consciousness. So we become our own enemies and help them bring in the bad plans they've hatched for centuries.

Anyway, I kind of see it as them fattening us up so we're complacent, our health ruined, we can' fight back, they think they've won, bad karma they think (whereas that is a boomerang that swings back and spanks the one with more empowerment misusing his responsibilities to harm others, he gets it full swing not his victims), and their harvest, depopulation or realm change.

Its good to notice. And the health problems really are because of their destruction of good food.

I personally don't think so. I don't think the "aliens" are real. At least not real in that they are from another planet/dimension. Hypnosis and alien costumes are pretty effective!

If anything humans consume what we like and what makes us "feel good". If the market demands sugary, salty, high-fat/carb foods -- that is what the companies are going to give us. Most Americans are addicted to salt and sugar, and so that is what you predominantly see at the grocery store.

Simple really,

Tell people that fat is bad for you.

2. People start buying non-fat, reduced-fat etc. Tastes like crap right?

3. Add sugar and lobby the Govt. to allow you to label sugar content in a tricky way. Weight instead of %.

Notice the difference? Looks nice and healthy. It's not!

4. Tell people that whole milk is bad and you should buy skim, 2%, 1% etc. But where does the extra fat go? Cheap affordable Cheese! And the cheese commercials tell us that cheese is so good for us right?

Our cheese shelves didn't look like this 15 yrs ago. Where is it coming from and why?

Too much processed food, fast food. Go to the Golden Arches and get a hamburger for $1. Cheaper to buy potato chips, a noodle bowl from the dollar store than fruits and veggies. The junk - lots of government subsidies. Would be nice if they would subsidize veggies and fruit! One of my relatives says the can't buy the good stuff to eat - cheaper buying processed garbage!
