I live in Texas, but have Scottish ancestry. I would vote yes.

I'm from Yorkshire (England for our non UK readers) and I voted Yes to get rid of the clowns in Westminster that bow to the fat cats that evade taxes, cut fricking everything except their own income (which they increase more than inflation).

Funny, that's the exact same as here in the u.s.

Up until this morning...

i was firmly against the Yes Vote...

today... a moment of clarity came over me... i realised i Hate the current government and corruption in Westminster, and the only tiny chance of changing that would be a Yes vote....

I am going to Vote Yes right now

I couldn't agree with you more. Anyone with common sense would feel the same as you. The problem is, the actual vote will probably be 80% yes, but the declared outcome will 54% no, and everyone will be looking around at each other wondering what happened.

So Scotland voted NO with a 55% percent majority.

My own district was NO 50.1% YES 49.9%

difference of 87 votes.

We have been promised more powers, if we get them then my vote wasnt wasted and its a positive for even the NO voters.

Westminster got a kick in the arse that they deserved and will maybe be more carefull of bleeding us dry in future.
or they might tell us to sit down and shut up.

Well we tried and failed but the momentum is here and will be carried forward.

Maybe the kick in the arse was the SNPs plan in the first place.

Voting for freedom is very courageous but the majority of people don't have the courage to be free. In the states our ancestors had that courage and made us free from oppression. Unfortunately we no longer have enough courageous people in the country to remain free and are on the verge of being forced into a socialist republic. I guess we will become satisfied to be serfs eventually but somewhere down the road, history tells us we will rebel and annihilate the ruling class. Pray for our grandchildren.

Loyalist rioters shut down St Georges Square last night. Total news blackout, yes supporters were attacked and fires started. The BBC is shameful i mean they have a headquarters 5 minutes away.
Thank goodness for social media, direct and live almost.

Of course this would have nothing to do with traditional Glasgow rivalries, Celtic - Rangers, Catholic - Protestant, Yes - No?

And it has been reported - yet it hardly shows Scotland / Glasgow in a good light.

I always suspected there would be recriminations regardless of the outcome.

Lets hope this is the worst it gets - now is a time for reconciliation and pulling together to drive through the change that Scotland and the Union need.

The Unionist gangs roamed the streets for hours, intimidating anyone they suspected of being different from them – gay people, coloured people, anyone who might have voted Yes. Mounted police with helicopters blocked streets to prevent them from spreading. Yet the BBC played it down and lumped the peaceful Yes supporters with half of the blame

Nothing more to say............

My good friend nearly got a kicking last night, just for walking past - so where is the non-stop tv coverage of this now? Honestly, if this had been the Yes camp, we'd have been hearing about it from now til the end of days.

Got a link for that quoted text?

*Edit*
It's ok, Googled the text and found your source:
wingsoverscotland.com...
...noticed this in the 'About Us' on the site:

The site is edited and maintained by Rev. Stuart Campbell, a Liberal Democrat voter at every election for the last 22 years but now non-aligned. It advocates Scottish independence

No possible bias there then lol
