FARKING GREAT NEWS!

I've put off coming back to the thread as I didn't want to be heart broken (and wrong).

Great NEWS!

All Dawgs hate being a RADAR head.

That is AWEsome news, Zero! Hey, if you were a truly sympathetic daddy, you'd wear a cone also.

Great photo of you two.
That is one happy Paka to be home.

Glad to see your buddy, Paka is doing much better. It's always hard when a pet gets injured. Their members of the family. My dogs are like my kids, I'd do anything for them.

Love his fashionable new collar.

That's great that Paka made it home to you guys. Your family's good fortune has made my day a happier one, too.

Thanks.

Thanks again for all the encouragement everyone. It means so much to us. I'm overwhelmed by the response to this thread. I wish I had more time to play on the computer so I could say thanks properly. I'm really kind of speechless.

Paka is doing very well. His heart went back to the normal position, and his bladder is working just fine. The hardest thing is not playing fetch. It's all he wants to do but Doc said absolutely no running or jumping til the stitches are out. The scar is gonna be pretty gnarly, and I'm a little worried about it getting infected still, but he's taking his antibiotics as long as they're covered in peanut butter.

Thank you all

That is really fantastic news!!!!!
Amazing how resilient bodies can be to trauma!

Thanks for the update...especially about his heart....that sounded scary.
How soon do the stitches come out

All the best to you, Paka and the rest of your family.

I've been following along with this thread waiting to hear 'one more time' from Zero. My heart goes out to everyone (you brought tears to old eyes). What a great community this is to belong to!!

I hope Paka is getting better. That really had to hurt ... and hard for a happy dog to understand.
