Hex, curse, exorcism, slain by the Holy Spirit, etc….. Unless we are talking about a fictional fantasy story, they are all different phrases to describe the exact same thing, which is the ‘power of suggestion’.

You have accused me of just wanting to “bash Christians” for using rational thought and logic to show how ridiculously unrealistic there belief structure is, well ok. But let put this to you, would you be saying the same thing if I was using rational thought and logic to dismiss the claims of someone who comes to this site claiming to have had encounters with extraterrestrials, without any kind of evidence to back it up?

Why is it that on this site (and within society in general) it is considered poor form to even dare to question the beliefs of Christians who make the most outrages claims about their beliefs without any kind of evidence to back it up whatsoever, yet if someone comes out and says they where abducted by aliens, it is considered more than appropriate to hound them for evidence and then totally ridicule them when can’t produce any evidence for their claims?

People who claim to be abducted by aliens are not starting wars based on there beliefs, they are not constantly infringing on the life’s of others and I am pretty damn sure there not brainwashing children and the most vulnerable people within society in there masses to comply with there beliefs, with the threat of eternal damnation!

I’ll admit that some churches are more extreme than others. Some are against talking in tongues or being slain in the Holy Spirit. But, go to just about any church and stand at the back and observe when they go into song, then just watch the masses of vulnerable and easily manipulated people, eyes closed with tears rolling down there cheeks, throwing there hands in the air like there on hard drugs!

The leaders of these churches are fully aware of the influence they have over these people and they use it to the full extent. Don’t be fooled by there benign and innocent appearance, behind closed doors it’s a completely different story. They are power hungry predators!

Watch this short clip of a church youth service and try to tell me there isn’t something wrong going on here. They are using the power of suggestion to induce a state of psychosis into these people and it should be illegal! Humanity is doomed if we just idly stand by and allow people to have there heads messed with like this. It is just sickening and I will not be shamed or silenced into not speaking out about it.

I would say it's you who has underestimated. You, not I, used the word hex apparently not knowing what it means. You assumed, without any justification whatsoever, that I'm a Christian. You have no idea what my beliefs are. The only thing that offended me is your use of a word you don't understand. I find it hilarious that you have so enthusiastically misjudged me. You ARE bashing Christianity. Fine with me. However, I suggest that you don't let your frothing anger blind you to the fact that not everyone who disagrees with some facet of your posts or points out that you misused a word in your thread title is a Christian. We know and they know exactly how they were living. There's rock art all over Australia dating back 40 thousand years ago that clearly illustrates how they were living and what there beliefs were.

I cant help but draw your attention to what many would consider slanderous characterizations of christians in this entire thread. I am a big boy and believe that OP is within T&C by using these characterizations to help readers understand exactly what the point is clearly. No one has to tippy toe around me friend.

The other amazing thing about google is people click on links that support their (not there) world view. This is normal human nature though. We want that warm blanket that tells us we are right and everyone else is wrong. This is true not only in google but what we learn in schools. I remember how in fifth grade we had a few assignments in history class and even at that young age i would just shake my head and say to myself "now how the hell can anyone know if these things actually happened"...but, i digress. And really that must have always been part of my nature just being a natural skeptic.

Many things you posted after the OP are just conjecture and it is actually possible that the time your parents had a person visit you and pray over you never really did happen. You know it's funny how we dream things and actually believe they did happen. My mom is old now and she does this a lot and i even have to tell her that it was a dream and never actually happened.

I am on the fence here so i take these threads with a grain of salt. Could be some fibs in the OP.

You really have a poor understanding of human existence. Homo sapiens date to about 200,000 years ago. The earth is billions of years old. I refer you to science and a plethora of testable evidence having utterly no confidence that you will avail yourself of it.

Truth is a belief not a fact. Fact is based on testable evidence only. Please alert us when you can cite testable evidence proving that Satan and God exist. Can't wait!

See this is a thread of discussion. You must to everyone's satisfaction prove that Lucifer doesn't exist before you can start in on me. Besides OP has establish the parameters of Lucifer existing in the first few posts. That's all I need then within the framework of this thread. But somehow I know you already know this. lol
