I was all ready to throw Children of the Sun in here, but turns out that was '79.

So instead, Donnie Iris - Ah Leah

This is definitely NOT a LOST song of the 80's...But I'll post it every chance I get..LOL

I could easily post 80's songs for weeks and never run out.

There is NO LIMIT to my love for 80's music!!

That being said, there are very few that get by me. I start each morning listening to a digital 80's station, and a month ago, I finally heard a song that I had just plain forgotten about!

They were known as "Yaz" in North America, and were "Yazoo" to our British counterparts.

I loved finding it again so much, that I bought the album "Upstairs At Eric's" immediately. Best. Purchase. Ever.

Looking from a window above
It's like a story of love, can you hear me?
Came back only yesterday
I'm moving farther away, want you near me

All I needed was the love you gave
All I needed for another day
And all I ever knew, only you

I know all the words to "Hiding From Love"!
I heard the Bryan Adam's version first, and it was a quick fave.

HOW UTTERLY SPOOKY - I was just going to post this!! LOVE the "mood" of this song.

ETA: Also, I was fortunate to see Roxette in concert last year - I say fortunate, as they last played near to me 20 years ago, so likely this was my only chance. I brought a friend who only knew a couple of songs, and they loved the show - even in an arena, the mood felt so beautifully intimate. The audience tossed around giant beach balls during "Joyride" too, which definitely evoked the "joie de vivre" of the song!

So maybe this wasn't a "lost hit" of the "80's" but still prefer it to those..and it was eighties. And just need I say more? I think not...

I have that B.A. album and still listen to it. My fav is: "Remember". Cool album. I've always been a big B.A. fan. Up until right after 'Everything I do'.

And if this one hasn't been played, what's the matter with you guys:

It's just a fun song to sing.

All kinds of 80's here including her hair, makeup and clothes. I think they were considered a "one hit" wonder.
