As the title says. Post some lost hits from the 80's. I've spent hours going through random playlists of songs I've never heard of, and I still have a hard time finding something actually good.

I crank this song about every morning when I take my boys to school and they sing along loudly, word for word:

Then, this song plays next; One of the best treasures to come out in the roaring eighties:

Everybody knows the first song, at least, I'd hope everyone knows that song.

Never heard the second song you posted though! That music video screams 80's.

Don't know how to post videos from the phone, but...

Rick Astley "Together Forever"
Baltimora "Tarzan Boy"

I think the 80s on 8 channel on SiriusXM has a whole segment for lost 80s hits. It might be station 33 though.

There's a lot of stations that play "Forgotten Hits" But a lot of them I've heard before. Well either that, or they just sound terrible. I'm looking for some great 80's music to just vibe too. Lmao, Tarzan Boy, I remember that song. The music video freaked me out a little the first time I seen it.

Lost? Hmmmm. I haven't found any "lost hits". So how about obscure? Or seldom heard these days? Will that work?

Lunatic Fringe by Red Rider...

I Want Candy by Bow Wow...

Come On Eileen by Dexy's Midnight Runners...

That's the pop category, anyway.

This was late 1990 but I think it counts.

Don't forget the Eddie Murphy classic "Party All The Time" either.

Prince : When Doves Cry (since he has been banned from the Us for some reason, this is the best re-make I could find)

THIS ONE THIS ONE THIS ONE!!!

I showed this vid to middle schoolers when I was teaching Conflict Resolution, and they first said, "Hey that's Tupac's song..." until about halfway through, and they were freakin mesmerized. Oh yes, Bruce Hornsby won them over, rat tail and all, lol.
You've got to see the whole thing- cool camera action from above the piano, and the skill is amazing...

Something about the syncopation to the beat, and the horns... always did love horns in rock music!

BRUH. I'd give you 100 stars just for mentioning that particular song if I could. First time I'd ever heard Eddie Murphy sing, and god damn, blew my mind.

I can never seem to find this on a jukebox, so I guess it counts as "lost"

Not sure if you're into Dance music, but I've heard some amazing remixes of that song. Makes the original song even better.
