So you are taking Flupentixol and you still hear voices everyday? Curious how long have you been on this medication?

This particular medication I've been on since feb-march...
I originally had olanzapine, then aripiprazole, then amisulpride...
Flupentixol has had the best balance and less side effects!

And....... I am guessing you do not dream anymore or rarely?

Dreams are a rarity, but nightmares are often and very vivid, almost lucid!

Continue to follow your doctor's advice and please let him/her know that the voices are still at it.

Will do pal, thank you!

This really is a very touchy subject. Because we still don't understand the physical mechanisms by which mental illnesses work, the only option for secular society is to suppress the symptoms with drugs.

I agree my friend...
Psychiatric care is still quite young!!!

On the thing you saw, it might not have been him, but maybe something else appearing as him.

I've often wondered if it was a Jinn, taking on another form...
Other than that I'm stumped!

This guardian angel... have you tested him? Are you sure he isn't a deception? I'm not attempting to make you paranoid, but the scriptures are clear that we are supposed to test and validate anything when it claims it is from God.

I have and I've seen the signs, I keep them close to heart as they are quite personal!
I trust my Guardian to guide me, so far he has been a massive help and never once nefarious!

Have you determined what god exactly sent this guardian?

As a Muslim I believe it was Allah...
All Angels in Islam are God's helpers...
It's the Jinn we need to be careful with!

A Fallen Angel in Islam is oxymoron...
In the sense that they were created from light to do the work of God...
Whereas the Jinn have free will to deceive!

I appreciate your input greatly my friend, thank you!

Hey woody, thank you for such a well written response...
I hope to see you on the boards more frequently from now on

Everything you said resonated with me... A lot!!!

I do now only write what comes from the light, so to speak...
I'm very careful what I put to paper...
Again it was my guardian Angel Michael who guided me in that direction...

I found this statement of particular interest as I have always believed that Schizophrenia is exactly that ... I see it as a portal or vortex in the soul that allows access to outside souls/spirits ... for example ... a little like leaving a door open in your home and the neighbourhood strays decide to pop inside either for a little warmth or to cause some mischief.

When you choked on that grape as a child and you were unconscious/dead ... the shock of coming back into your body may have torn this portal/vortex open in your soul and since that time the 'soul strays' in your mental neighbourhood have been able to gain access.

Others have said the same & it's 99% my mindset (or mind Ra
) on the situation...
Someone said the word conduit, & it hit home quite hard!

I wonder if you had written any lyrics/notes on the day you had your experience that may have invoked this entity ... because I do believe you know the difference between reality and forms developed by your condition.

I think this struck me hardest...
I will have to go back and check...
I know exactly what notepads I was using at the time having been on the ward for 3 months it stuck with me...
Thank you for pointing me in this direction my friend!

If you have any specific questions I would be happy to answer if I can ... and I would like to thank you for bringing me out of my self-inflicted ATS exile.

Thank you, I hope you stick around and share your insight more often Woody...
Much appreciated!
Bless You!

My absolute pleasure Charlie and I will definitely be keeping an eye on this thread to see if you find anything in your notebooks. As I said I do usually check in with ATS every day at some point to see if there is anything worth participating in ... this thread definitely was.

If I were you I would do one or both of the following:
1. Ask yourself what you want to know. In this case, 'what did this vision mean?' or even 'what is the purpose of my schizophrenia?' Meditate right before going to sleep. Picture a garden in whatever style you like best, relax your body. There's a pool, as you descend the stairs you feel the water over taking you and your mind is going deeper and deeper into a weightless, bodiless meditative state. You swim to the bottom and there is a chest, you open the chest and it is full of light and inside is the answer. Of course if you're consciously visualizing this, you won't know the actual answer. But focus on all this as you go to sleep. An answer will come to you in your dream.
2. Try past life regression with a professional. See if something from your past is causing all this. There was a boy who was inexplicably deaf in his right ear, it turned out he had fallen off a building and landed on his right side (and died) in a previous life.

Either this thing is real or your brain fabricated it, but either way some part of you knows why. You just have to trick your mind into coming forth with the answers.

Definitely come back with updates.

PS In a manic state a few years back I was 'predicting the future'. There's nothing mystical about some of this stuff. The fact was my brain was operating so fast that using basic knowledge of a situation I could draw on past experience and anticipate the outcome. The Oracle at Delphi was said to be in a state of 'mania' when delivering messages. And they didn't use young women, they used more middle aged women. Why? Because of their life experience to draw on. Add the fact that Delphi was a cultural hub with relatively up to date information passing through. Induce mania and the sped up minds of these seasoned women and they could probably deliver a pretty accurate and cryptic prediction.

Definitely my friend...
I will also be taking your advice to try and work this out...
Fantastic ideas you've put forward.

Either this thing is real or your brain fabricated it, but either way some part of you knows why. You just have to trick your mind into coming forth with the answers.

Due to the realism of the experience I tend to think it's the former...
I will try my best to trick my mind as you said...
As you said, whether this is real or the illness...
The answer has to be there somewhere!

Thanks again

I was at a hospital for schiz and one of the stars on the elevator was inverted. At a grouphome a reflection of the sun off a window showed a green Gemini symbol crossed out like a no smoking symbol

Holy crap! I am in the process of learning how to use a crystal ball. I've been practicing with remote viewing techniques with moderate success, but my ultimate goal is to help people with readings. So I've been wading through the hokey new age crap to find the 'sapphires in the mud', if you will, regarding proper technique. And came across this. Scroll down to the passage surrounding the p. 151 break. If that rings a bell, then go back and start from the beginning.

Sacred Texts

* I was going to add to my previous post that when you experience a very shocking/upsetting dream (or in your case hallucination) it's your mind's way of really trying to get your attention about something, to facilitate action. Maybe you had that vision, and it was so disturbing that it stuck with you all this time. It gnawed at you until you came on here.

And here you are.

Baphomet wasn't a satanic god he was made into one. Baphomet like all gods/goddesses of the time were half good, half bad. Like in everything in the is world. I wonder why we now worship a god that only good, doesn't sound right to me.
