And somehow it's a foreseeable result that a cop's going to come in and start shooting people, even though the 'suspect' never actually did
anything besides brandish a weapon? If that is the case (and it is by your own admission, any rational person who pays attention to these things
wouldn't disagree) something truly needs to be done about the police in our country. That is about as stupid as it gets im sorry. You might as well
have used the old "he's just doing his job" argument.
The lunatics are literally running the asylum in the US.
Admittedly, its not all police. But, when you wear the uniform of people who are associated with these things you are judged along with them. There
may have been some Nazis who were good people, but they still wore red armbands with swastikas so we group them all together and judge them as the
group that they are a part of. Same with the police. Why on earth would it, or should it be any different?
It's the double standard that I find so absolutely sickening. They get away with things a regular citizen could never dream of. Why? Because they are
trained to handle these situations? If that's the case why does it go so wrong with such frequency?
Doctors train for nearly a decade to save someones life, but if you want a gun and the authority to kill it doesn't take anywhere near as long. They
truly need more training imo. I also think (know) that they need to be held to a higher standard. It shouldn't be the standard that they accidentally
kill people or kill with little provocation and receive zero punishment. That, imo, is absolutely against what our country is about.
It is as if they have absolute domain over us. Do not question, do not resist, for they are your masters and as such reserve the right to strike you
down at any time. I don't remember the username but there was a cop on these very forums who basically said the same thing although he said it in a
righteous manner because he thought he is was exactly what most cops think they are.
I could not imagine being such a ruthless person.
