Ok so if it's something like a super secret plane or drone we can say WHOOOAAA

Interesting depictions of the sonic boom reducing plane designs.

You know there's a depiction Lockheed has that they are calling a bomber concept. I think she is and so much more. She has a long front end and engines on top and sharp pointy wingtips. Lots of similarities to the other drawings posted here. Of course they would never show what the real plane would look like and the depictions they supply lack certain things that make a big difference.

But, long nose for pressure shock wave manipulation to supply superior lift at high speeds much like the valkrie. Check.
Engines on top like the Kingfish. check.
Stealthy body contours. check.

Looks cool (very important) check.

The only question is what are they doing with the tail/s. And whats up with the wings. I like the anhedral idea. just need it to be more dynamic. Kinda like the valkrie.

I dub thee "Meteor"...

Unless top secret military aircraft are now breaking up and running out of fuel over Japan. Where's a boom when you need one, eh?

I'm with ya. Really just wanted to see if anyone could corroborate in the slightest of a perhaps of a "hey that's interesting" kind of way. These hype-jets do tend to look more like meteors than anything else.

All very interesting.
Here is a dash cam from a cop cruiser that shows a green ball streaking across the sky.

So... am I the only one who thinks it looked like the "fireball" got brighter and then sped up before disappearing? I am guessing this is not the typical behavior of meteorites breaking up in our atmosphere.

No, someone else in a different thread pointed that out too.

I can't keep track of all of the threads that seem to have some common themes...

So, it sounds like this could possibly be something new and black... pretty cool.

We tend to meander all over the damn place in these threads. It does make it hard to keep track though.

Yep you just gotta read em all!

I remember maybe in another thread a poster right after the montreal sighting supplied a link to a story told by an iranian AF pilot who tried intercepting something that was creating a huge turbulent wake in the air. When he got just close enough the thing turned bright green and shot off like a rocket at speeds that were hard to comprehend. or something like that. And I think the sighting was from years ago. reminds me of how the thing in the dash cam video suddenly shoots off. Guess the pilot hit the go fast juice button.

I try to... i recently found the "TR3B on Military.com" thread... si, aparently I need to lurk out of this AP forum.

Bassplyr, I read your description of your sighting a few different times. Did it look similar to the video on Space.com? I imagine you were quite a bit closer to the craft.

I remember that one too but I believe it was a different type of craft and not the green lady. One that may have some rather interesting characteristics that we don't see everyday but you may have.

Yeah, the aircraft in question here isn't going to slow down enough to let anyone get near her. Her main defense is sheer speed, and no pilot is going to give that up for anything over potentially hostile territory.

The only way to see this elusive lady is to catch her before she puts on her green dress and heads off to the dance. Or, when she returns from the dance, late at night.

It's amazing what a simple green light will do for you in the right place.

And at the right time.
I think I'm going to need to buy a few more bottles of single malt to get more info on her. Her "posse" is getting more tight-lipped lately.

Yeah, that's our fault. We got a little loose lipped there for awhile and they weren't happy with us.

Well, a secret is not a secret if it is out in the open !!! And whats the harm in looking up at the night sky, especially if we ALL do it

Sorry I'm just curious, what do you mean by that ? Had ATS caused a few problems amongst the developers and the people in the know ?

A couple yeah. They've been watching this forum pretty closely for the last year or so at least. We've had them pulling their hair out in frustration.
