Fortunately your opinion means nothing to me, you can be judgmental all you want but it doesn't stop the rock from being a rock.

Why just disembodied heads? Did they have a complex about not building full sized statues or something?

So a bunch of creatures live on the planet that has no ecosystem at all. Do they all eat rocks and breathe dust?

Animals don't live in a vacuum - they need other systems to be alive and well, including atmosphere, water, and lots of other animals and plants. I don't get how people think it's sensible that in a field of dust and rocks.. a gorilla is hanging out. Or that on an alien planet with different atmosphere, gravity, temperature, and so on, would ever have creatures that are identical to creatures on this planet. They would have evolved differently you know.
