I think it looks fake because they have a professional setup, you'd think they would stand out compared to

A LOT of people have been complaining of this. I haven't tried it but I heard the #Ferguson tag on Facebook is now completely non-existent.

That and the guy doing a little dance in the middle of the smoke cloud and not getting out of it. And yeah, pretty surreal to see tear gas lobbed at obvious journalists.

Just image how alex jones is going to blow up tomorrow on the show.

Wow, I don't know about you guys but my feeds- reddit; ATS; Twitter and ST. Louis police scanner are sending my firefox into a tizzy---sloow responses and freeze ups like there is a jillion people responding and system failure is eminent. Any one else?

Not much msm reporting the events of tonight but RT is lol, it actually shows when the police fired into the nearby neighborhood.

An overwhelming group of SWAT forces in riot gear has descended on protesters who gathered once again in Ferguson, Missouri, on Wednesday. After nightfall, police deployed tear gas against the crowd, warning the protest was “no longer peaceful.”

“This is no longer a peaceful assembly. Go home or be subject to arrest,” police warned through the loudspeaker, shortly before shooting tear gas at the protesters. Prior to that officers were telling people to stay away from the vans.

Police were also shooting rubber bullets while smoke grenades and tear gas canisters were falling into the crowd and surrounding neighborhood. Meanwhile, some of the protesters reportedly threw rocks and bottles at the police.

Nothing is coming through. Not much ATM. Seems to have slowed down and reporters and put all their pictures and posts up. Thats about it currently. Random EMS stuff coming over radios. Nothing from the protestors.

You are living history. It's a dubious honor, but I'd say lag goes with it. When I start seeing reports of Palestinians tweeting first aid guidance to Ferguson people? This has world wide attention. Ugh.... Everyone is watching this, apparently.

Mine has but I have been using nothing but my iPad to listen to live feeds, post, read, etc. I figured it was just on overload.

I've got to leave this freak show and try to sleep. Have this annoying Metallica song in my head though:

I'm sure this has been posted before but exactly who currently are these "police". Is it the National Guard at this point? What is the background or experience? If they were in combat and most training is for a war, it could explain how they are acting.

I have been following this for the past 3 days. The police have done NOTHING in terms of restraint, at least in my opinion.

I think you mean "Shortest Straw" and not eye of the beholder.
