I would think that their mental state would be quite apparent by their actions. Breaking into a store and stealing some sneakers or booze is not indicative of "caring about the death of the young man" and very indicative of being opportunistic looters.

I'd suggest that it is pretty obvious.

A mall-goer tweeted that there was rioting and looting going on in the Galleria and they (the tweeter) managed to get out just before the police charged in.

Interestingly, ISIS is not a group of diverse people who came from all parts of the world and blended together. America is the "Melting Pot", as many of us learned in grade school. You just cannot throw that many different cultures together and expect everyone to be a cohesive whole without some rules. Our rules are generally based on the Constitution, so if people do not respect that, we are going to have problems. There has been an attack on Constitutionalism in this country the last few decades, with Progressives especially, but in general TPTB telling us that the Constitution is a living document and must be allowed to be manipulated(to reflect the socialist and globalists agenda TPTB want).
The people on that side of the globe appear to want Sharia Law and they want to bring it to wherever they happen to migrate. Sharia Law is not compatible with the US Constitution, so we are going to have serious problems if they try to subplant our Founding Document. Socialism is something which can seriously undermine the stability of our country, as we have been functioning under Capitalism and somewhat free market economy, although it has been degraded by some monopolistic tendencies by giant corporations, but if we try to replace with statist economy we will just end up like Russia, only with more diverse elements. If we do not respect the Law in this country there will be violence like we are seeing in Missouri now. I am not getting into elements like Occupy or other Soros invented protest groups, but that is an element to be considered right now.

Anyway, AP is the fount from which almost all our news reporting is released. The looting has nothing to do with racism as it is purely wanton opportunism.

I was flipping through the MSM late last night before bed and heard them say that the community went to the tire center and took all the tires and other stuff to keep it safe from looters. hahalol THEN, they said repeatedly that these looters "came from other places". lol These liberals and their excuses and cover-ups........

I bet the looters who took all the shoes, gold jewelry and hair extensions just took it back to their apartment for safe keeping. What great citizens!!!!!! haha

The second that cops couldn't do anything they should've called in the national guard and put a stop to it. Instead, they just sit by and let the looters loot. Send in the military.

No, go ahead and call it Liberal Media, I don't care. All I'm saying is that there is also Conservative Media out there too with it's own bias so I don't see why the Right is always screaming about the Liberal Media as if they don't have their own conservative media. Oh, that's right, it's because the Right just loves playing the victim and believe they are being persecuted all the time. Nothing pleases them more than the idea that the world is against them but because God and the Truth is on their side, they keep fighting the good fight.

Oh yeah, does everyone Know that. I might agree that perhaps cable news media is more liberal, aside from Fox obviously, but not all media. Hell, where I live we don't even have one liberal radio station. I'd say within print media they're about equal with each other.

Another problem is that, especially now, the Right has become so Far Right that anything would be considered Liberal to what they've become. Even being a moderate Conservative now isn't good enough. It is actually fairly typical of the people involved. It is something they always wanted to do, but now feel justified because of their mob mentality. "Oh look, a cop shot Timmy". Never verifying why, etc. "I'm gonna get that flat-screen I've always wanted!".

That isn't retaliation against the people who MAY have committed the offence...it is just an excuse to do something they apparently always wanted to do. But probably didn't because of the fear of being arrested. It is people like this that are one of the major problems within our country. Those who feel stealing or taking is just fine. May I make a logical suggestion? If where we are going as a society is crashing. If nothing this administration and government have tried are benefitting, protecting and helping us as a society...maybe...the opposite, or at least something different is the right direction? It is one thing to WISH that progressive actions would work and an entirely different thing to watch them fail in action and still support them.

Life is actually full of easy choices. If it hurts when you take option number one...option number two may be a better choice. It is insanity to keep saying "Option number one hurts...but I like it...so I'm going to keep doing it".

Hopefully they will send in the National Gaurd and shoot all the looters on sight. Just a bunch of opportunistic scumbags. ~$heopleNation

You think this is bad??? We're gearing up for another election soon and what have we got on the table so far??? How so? I think everyone of the "Molon Labe" brigade has voiced support for the African American shop owners who used firearms to protect their shops. The issue of this rioting is not about race, and this is poor use of the race card, but rather criminal activities that are directed against largely black owned and/or operated businesses.

I want law abiding Americans, even "black" Americans to be able to defend themselves from criminals. How is that racist?

I did.
I am pointing out that rioting and throwing rocks at police(also in your article that I read) may cause them to use tear gas.

Then later I posted a link that shows anecdotal evidence that there was looting on the second night. I also saw television news reports that said there was looting on the second night, making your point moot.

You are correct, there were men of various ethnicities in that picture and they all had one thing in common, defending their property from the lawless.
