That is probably one of the best rants I've ever read on here since I joined. Like. Ever.

Nothing to add. It was amazing and real and sad, all into one.

If I try to relate then I'm fake. If I tell you I care, I'm full of bullshyte.

Hi Councelor.

Thank you for your comments. I am sort of aware in my head that the worlds problems are not mine to solve but I don't feel it in my bones, if you know what I mean. I guess I'm just to nosy to keep from putting the world to rights.

That and it's better than focusing on my own problems.

Hi Cuervo.

Thank you so much for your kind words.

At the moment I'm not sure if I want to be a war poet in the style of the violinists on the Titanic or an anti-shill info agent. I have the privilege of being a full time writer now though so I'm thinking of trying a little of everything. I have to do something though, I guess I'll find it when it comes.

Hehe, I was inspired by you mentioning monolougues on solutions to the worlds problems so it came to me to start a thread asking ATS if the worlds problems could be solved by promising Detroit to the Israelis. I mean it's as valid a question/solution as anyone else has come up with in the last few thousands of years. The thread lasted six minutes.

I can see me taking to pamphlets before long.

If you tried to relate you would be met here with a positive reaction. I cannot see how your ability to relate and willingness or lack of to be fake are related.

Considering the tone and content of your post I would say that yes, if you told me you cared, you would be bull shyting.

Please, take your fancy, twisty impression-manipulating little fallacies and bury them deep into the content of my thread title.

Go on, humour me, do it with no gloves on.

Just wanted to quickly drop in and say, like many other ATS members, that this rant is gold. Keep on keeping-on, don't change a thing and remain a member here with your sharp insights into all the shyte we are bombarded with each and every day from all directions.

LIfe is subjective.

If you want to find bull shyte then you will easily find it in any aspect of your experience, and what ever you focus upon will grow.

You can not control others, however, it is up to you how you perceive their actions. Almost every BS example you offer can be understood if you understand the ego. Start by understanding your own ego for it is often paradoxically ones best friend and worst enemy at the same time.

I won't congratulate you on your rant as it is bull shyte itself. Find some peace within your self and you might stop projecting so much BS every where you decide to focus.

You need a big hug, but first a gentle slap in the face. Get a grip girl and stop feeling sorry for your self!

Focus not on what BS you receive from others, and more on what you can offer them.

Indeed you are not here to suffer BS, but neither are you here to complain about it. Instead of ranting, which is effectively a way of finding solace amoungst relative strangers (not the solution), take some responsibility for your own thought patterns and address your 'victim' attitude, and only then will you begin to find some peace.

Enough BS already.

The amount of people liking your rant actually makes me depressive.

It's like you don't understand people, don't understand life, are making yourself powerless and victimizing yourself towards others.

I hope I never become so shallow and oblivious to the point where negativity is all I breathe.

This bull shyte was way to long to read. Damn my ADD.

You're just having a reaction to truth. And it strangely reminds me of an episode of South Park: You are getting older. lol
It will get better when you get a good shovel and learn how to shovel the BS. Keep a good set of waders on ya, too. That way, when it starts getting deep you can just slip them on.

Ahhh, you have had enough, this is a good sign possibly, for you.

Now try to unload all the programs that make SURE you see everything through the eyes of the bullshyte.

I.E. EVERYTHING, that you think makes you , YOU.

Tell the parasites to get the hell out of you, your body, your area.

Focus on the fact that to find the real truth, you will actually find it, and stop wasting time with any system of choice currently offered HERE.

I dare ya, to try and ask yourself who you really are, DARE you to try and become as powerful as you can,

JOIN those of us who laugh at every single system ever devised here, that is blamed on humans, and realize the real story of the Universe, from your own inside story.

Many have tried, but very few actually do it FULLY.

Good rant! And no, you are not alone in this. I refer to it as the awakening. There are a lot of us, and we are growing. We peel back the film of life that has been painted over our societies and see the world for what it truly is. Consumerism has driven society for the last 70 years. Everyone is worried about having the latest and greatest and making sure everyone around knows how successful they are. Even our commercials insinuate how much of a loser we are if we don't buy product A, B and C.

For those of us waking up, we feel lost, out of place. When did the world turn into a TV show? When did everyone get so fake? Hell, it's gotten so bad I start to wonder if people I know (including family) have been replaced by aliens (body snatchers)? I know they haven't but when the news of the day is some weird ass Kardashian farting on a pier, there has to seriously be something wrong with people! You know your society has reached rock bottom when the entertainment choices are a spoiled red neck brat and some back woods hunting gear makers. And people wonder why the government has run a muck!

People only care about what's in it for them. There is no community anymore. I would even wager most married couples don't really even care for their spouse. They stay because they either make them look good, or it's just easier than the alternative. Trust is a fairy tale. Honesty is about as common as fairy farts. Everyone is so self absorbed into the "woe is me" syndrome that they never even thought about others. The world flashes past and they miss it. The sad part is that there is so much in our world to see that is beautiful and amazing and FREE!! If people would simply unplug and be true to themselves I think a vast majority of problems in this world could be solved in short order.

After all, you can't fix a problem if you don't know it exists!

Thank you!

Haha, I know what you mean about straight jackets lol. I can't imagine it will be long before I am in one.

I'm not sure if it's fortunate or not but I started to see the world for what it is as a child free woman and came to the conclusion that I would never have any.

I mean how on Earth do you cope?!

I'm not sure what it's like over there but here it seems to be that any child not receiving at least £500 worth of gadgets for Xmas will be bullied, not have the right apps for school and generally a social leper. If they do get the gadgets they either have them taken off them by bullies or they are used as a vector for cyberbullying.

Then there's the school trips to pay for, branded clothes (most of which are styled to be sexually provocative from the age 8 up), to vaccinate or not to vaccinate, media influence, Catholic Priests, the influence of unparented kids in the playground...

Then of course I would have to work two jobs to pay for all of the above.

AAARRRGGGHHHHHHHH

People say being a parent is the hardest job in the world. I would say that was an understatement.

I think not having dependents is about the only thing keeping me from rocking in the corner right now.
