proving a missile shot down mh17... they have yet to release any said photographs,

It is a tactical presentation of evidence from classified platforms that show tangently what you are suppost to see.

Regardless what Obama said he has not provided a single proof to back up his statement.

While the majority of the posters are questioning everything in this tragedy, it is the OP who keeps posting...

The more I see such posts, just buying the Rebel line, hook and sinker, the more I tend to not believe them.

We have articles now stating four different types of aircraft. No one is one the same page in the rebel camp. It's been claimed early on that they were shooting at a AN-76. Then it was a MIG 29, then a SU-27 and now a SU-25 that was following flight MH17.

Russian SUPPORT, TRAINING and ARMS sounds like direct Russian involvement. That sounds like as much involvement as you can have without pulling the trigger. And it is dialing back the rhetoric if you look at what the headlines were as far as Russia and Putin all weekend. I have two opinions on what could have happened and both of them involve the United States. Originally the day it happened my first instinct was the rebels got tricked into shooting it down. Russia's evidence makes it look like Ukraine did it. However, I have been reading up on

So I will say this...maybe just MAYBE the rebels shot it down. And if they did, that link might help shed some light on what that aircraft that was detected near the 777 was up to. Maybe, they made it look like a high value target and spoofed its radar. Maybe that is what that Su-25 was up to. Either way this whole event was premeditated and planned to frame the rebels. The only question is if they shot it down to frame them or tricked them into shooting it. At least in my opinion. Since I have been informed that the single BUK launcher can operate stand alone. This is just my SPECULATION though.

What it's saying is that only friendly military aircraft would ping back as being friendly. Although I thought this capability required the command unit.

Exactly....so a commercial airliner would ping back probably....unless its radar was disabled. But I'm not positive how the IFF works and if it can distinguish based off of the systems on a commercial plane.
