with knowledge comes new advancements
no longer is a plow just metal + wood
that "metal" might be a "plastic" now (and so on)
new properties, new qualities, new possibilities..

so we start UNDERMINING what was once "set in stone"

this is a reference to laws being set in stone (ding!)
this is a reference to 'inflexible dogma'
this is a reference to lord business representing the "mean" old testament God
this is a reference to his son "undermining" his law
this is a reference to LUCIFER (who supposedly set man free from the garden)
this is a reference to all those people out there who are so quickly jumping on the bandwagon because what they're seeing "looks good enough to them"


hurp.. the movie was made by the system in the first place people don't seem to *get* that part?

I still don't understand where you are coming from.

The movie was simple:

It started of in a totalitarian-type society where everyone was told what to do (the instructions) and were told that "conformity is good" and "individualism is bad". There was only one TV show with one plot, and only one song people listened to.

Basically, the people were told by "TPTB" what to think, how to think, what to do, and what to be.

Then our hero and a band of rebels fought this idea, showing the world that individualism is good, and that anyone can do (e.g. build) anything they wanted, and become anything they set their mind to because everyone can be special.

This was summed up also in the live action sequence at the end, where the father was the "conformity" guy who thought Legos should only be built one way, while his son was the "individualist" who showed his dad that being creative with Legos (not only doing what the instructions said and instead using your imagination) can also be an effective way to use Legos.

i already showed how it was portrayed as "the ark" (a "power source"; complete with light, "cross symbolism" & being hoisted off by minions) the recent HOBBIT movie made use of the ark(enstone) to convey this backwards mythos (there is something happening here, it's up to you to find out what it is)
crazy-gluing everyone into a permanent position is the same thing as spending eternity in heaven
only Will Ferrell was just a man & had no idea what heaven is
just like you're only human & decided to let your kids mix-up their lego sets

The pieces are mostly the same but vary mainly in size. To make any thing cool takes effort - wait for it - just like real life. I don't see the conspiracy, neither did my 11 year old.

I love this movie. I definitely noticed a lot of what you pointed out when I saw it in theaters. However, I am still confused on WHY movies have this stuff in it when they still come out with a good message? It is kind of like the Hunger Games where people are finding a bad message, but I find that it is telling them to break free. Just like the Lego Movie. That is something I have not understood. With Hollywood and their symbols and crap...
what are they trying to accomplish? Unless they are wanting people to break free??

what do people "hunger" for & what kind of "games" are they prepared to play?
the 'candidates' (as they were depicted in the hunger games movie) are people who "qualified" (or were selected) for entry into the entertainment complex of the system
(think about the candidates being groomed & trained by the system, to be "hero's of the people")
the hunger games (on one level) is about the creation of shillebrities
just think of someone like "Russell Brand" (and how he was briefly 'coupled' with shill counterpart Kitty Purry)
these people are "taught how to fight" and then they (supposedly) "teach" us..
on another level "anyone" is competing in the "hunger games" when they attempt to play the systems game (like the lego movie was used to show how the systems "instructions" end up getting you nowhere)

there are dozens of real life "hunger games" too (not only shows like "survivor", but things like the X-factor, the voice, britain's got talent, etc) all of it just teaches you to play games to satisfy your own hunger..
all those competitors; "trying to change things" but the system just eats them all up & spits them out
i think of linda hamiltons character in Terminator 2, bashing on the wire fence trying to get people attention
exactly like all those deluded souls auditioning for the system on something like X-factor or the voice (trying to get peoples attention)
..all get burned in the end (just ask Bob Geldoff or katy perry about 'selling their souls')

Parental Guidance means the parent watches it first and decides whether their children should watch it or not.
