Earthquake Doom Porn - Chicago USA

Doom Porn enthusiasts ... we've had a dry summer. But good news! Things are heating up! We have new doom porn - this time for Chicago USA. Multiple doom porn prophecies for Chicago. Usually we put the viability of the doom porn to be a '0' on the 1-10 scale. This time I'm going to go ahead and bump up the viability of the Chicago doom porn to a big ol' ONE! It actually gets on the 'could happen' scale this time. (only because of multiple reports). Unfortunately this doom porn isn't dated, however those who are commenting on the prophecies say that because of the number of prophecies for Chicago they expect it to happen in the next few weeks. So .. that could be by Labor Day 2014. The oldest prophecy of the big earthquake have it happening in the morning before noon, and the day sounds like late spring or early fall.

I've been here over ten years and in all that time I think only one has come true. It was an earthquake prediction based of sun activity or something like that. It could have been an accurate prediction or it could have just been a coincidence. The others based off the sun activity never happened.

That's why doom porn failure watch is so fun.
It makes us feel so superior when the predictions fail.
Superior because we didn't fall for it.

And they all usually fail miserably.

We had an Earth quake in the middle of SC around Valentines Day this year. It was after a huge snow and ice storm event.
I have lived here ten years and it was the first one! It was strange it sounded like thunder. It was a 4.2 and went a great distance. we were forty five miles from the epicenter I believe. Our closet door was rattling and the bed was creaking while were laying in it watching TV for five or ten seconds. I wasn't sure what just happened. My mind went towards something exploded far away.

Wasn't there on that predicted and earthquake yesterday or in September? I notice there wasn't one yesterday.

We are entering a "Super Moon" phase where the moon will be closer and thus exerting slightly more pressure on earth than normal, but why this would suddenly trigger off major earthquakes when it hasn't necessarily done so in the past? I don't know.

And the idea that Chicago only will be hit by an earthquake is a bit silly. All the scenarios I've ever heard of where Chicago gets hit by an earthquake involved the middle of the country getting unzipped along the New Madrid with Lake Michigan getting emptied out into the resulting rift zone. Basically, the only way I can think this happens is if the current plate N. America sits on suddenly decides to split in two with each half going different ways.

Not going to say it can't happen ... but the likelihood of it? Let's just say I think ISIS has a better chance of destroying the Kaaba and establishing their Caliphate along with seizing the nuclear arsenal of Pakistan.

And, yes, I am aware I say this as someone who believes in End Times, but I'm still not kissing my butt good-bye over it. And I won't either until I really see the major markers start to fall. Until then, it's all just fascinating speculation.

Yep ... the good stuff has to be at least a little believable AND the best stuff for ATS has to be dated. Something has to point to a date or a time period. That way we can all be on failure watch. This stuff I posted looks to be happening, at the latest, probably fall of this year??

Earthquake = If the New Madrid lets go and the Great Lakes are effected from weight etc ... a mega quake could happen. I'd think that if Yellowstone went off, it would also set off the New Madrid and so between the Yellowstone quake and the New Madrid quake Chicago could get nailed. It's possible.

Geez! Can you just imagine the chaos and fallout from a significant quake impacting Chicago? I don't want to...

I don't know. What about one that devastates/destroys San Fran? All of the major tech firms are there. That would be chaos and fallout of a different nature.

In regards to Yellowstone...it's not a question of "if" but "when"...

I would imagine it would be much like New Orleans getting hit ... only bigger. Relief efforts and dealing with the dead would be on a much bigger scale. I think the infrastructure of the country would continue okay. Well ... except for power hits in the midwest that would last for a few months.

I'd imagine that would hit the market in a negative way.
