If someone can't afford insurance, they probably cannot afford a firearm to begin with.

You can buy a firearm for under a hundred. What if the insurance is more than that each year? Why should anyone have to pay that if they cannot afford it? Do you pay a tax for exercising your other rights?

And i just proposed the surplus military hardware because of budget constraints.

Which do not exist in the configuration you suggested and are therefore irrelevant. Your lack of knowledge regarding firearms does you no justice in this debate.

So are you saying you purposefully suggested a firearm configuration that you knew was no longer available?

No, i purposely choose a firearm so horribly made that it was in fact hazardous to the person using it.

According to a congressional report, the jamming was caused primarily by a change in gunpowder that was done without adequate testing and reflected a decision for which the safety of soldiers was a secondary consideration, away from what the designer specified, as well as telling troops the rifle was 'self cleaning' and at times failing to issue cleaning kits. [17] Due to the issue, reports of soldiers being wounded were directly linked to the M16, which many soldiers felt was unreliable

no, but it doesn't mean execution either..

only an exceptionally stupid, or exceptionally violent person would automatically assume the answer to everything is to kill...

This isn't the first time you've implied deadly force to solve one of your imagined problems.

It doesn't take a English major to determine your intent.

i implied nothing but a use of force, and there are many ways to apply force...

it isn't my fault that you feel the need to assign the worst intent possible to a statement...

the man who shot these people got progressively worse in his mental illness.

Requiring insurance or mental health evaluations sounds like a
pontification from someone who is much higher in elevation
than the rest of the real people here in America.

Higher in elevation and status caused by an overinflated sense
of self importance and a lifelong association with the
beautiful people who think they can rule the world with
their lofty ivory tower perspective and plans.

currently pot smokers and mentally adjudicated people are prohibited from
buying guns. So are felons and misdemeanor domestic assault criminals.
plus people who take addictive drugs.

in a perfect world, which the New Age Atheists envision that they can
administer, we would not need to exercise our God given right of self defense.
the current state of the art tool is the gun.

Hi Mr. Pot.

So let's see, what authority do you think you possess to politely ask elected officials to leave office, while obviously armed.

And when they ask you to leave?

Well, because apparently the constitution isn't a living document and must be applied as written at the time it was written, that means muskets only.

Can't apply a meaning to this day and age now can we?

when the founding fathers were talking about freedom of speech,
did that include telegraph, telephone, internet, television and radio?

just posed another question you will not answer.

i called what you said disgusting, because you would wish harm on those you disagree with...that is really telling...it is indicative of a serious mental illness...

as to authority....the people have the right to place criminals under arrest. and you CAN shoot someone, and NOT kill them...you can incapacitate, and hell, you don't even need to use a gun for that...

why do you immediately assign the worst attributes of humanity to those you disagree with?

I always assign the worst traits to humanity period. Whether or not i agree with their point of view.

Humans cannot be trusted ever under any circumstances. They will always tell you the best and show you the worst.

I couldn't tell you, probably to get away from the other person and death gives them that sweet release from the hell that is existing in the same universe as the person they are dying for.

Hell if I were forced to deal with some people a bullet to the head would become mighty appealing.

So, you have postured that you are trying to find a 'solution' to the 'mass shooting' problem, your 'solution' is to have firearms advocates be injured and/or killed by their government supplied weapons.

Explain to me again why you feel you are not trolling this thread.
