The POTUS ensures the purple kool-aid will be shoved down your throat rather you like it or not. Just wait your electric bill is getting ready to hurt. Those nasty coal power plants are the latest on the chopping block. Never mind the facts, damn the torpedos it's full steam ahead, and that nasty CO2 has to go. Oh and don't bother confusing me with the facts, I know its getting hotter by the day, today I went outside and broke a sweat. If it wasn't for Bush and his economic and ecological policies things wouldn't be this way. We need action and action now! The people will just have to sacrifice.

The anti-warming event is called volcanos, and mount Pinatubo was a biggie in terms of dumping all that anti-warming crap into our atmosphere. It is believed that it set back the warming progression by 30 years, but who knows.

One thing everyone does know is Al Gore's film has been the biggest problem we have today with climate change. That set the stage, and it was so wrong that anything new and people just close their eyes and ears.

I like how everyone ignores all the incontrovertible evidence like plants blooming weeks earlier, animals moving their ranges, massive floods, record droughts, etc.

It is funny you say that about Dolphins a young woman in the Philippines was swimming not far from shore in Palawan and a male dolphin started playing around with her next thing she knew the dolphin was all over her and it was trying to put its black penis in her and was dunking her down about ten feet. Literally trying to rape her.

She screamed when she came up for air and a small boat came to her and they had to hit the dolphin to get it to leave and it was fighting back. the whole thing shed new light on those bottle nose dolphins.

The whole dolphin thing may be somewhat true. But for sure the evidence does show that The claims Al Gore has been making over the last 15 years or so is absolute Bull#!

Forgive me if I am wrong but isn't the worry about the reduction of the thickness of ice and not sea ice? Antarctica in some places the ice is almost 3 miles high some 1500 feet. Now I am not great at math but if i foot of a glacier crumbles into the ocean that stands 180 ft in the air the surface ice would need to extend 180 ft by 1 ft thick to make up for it. Far as I know glacier melt far exceeds surface ice. I watched a video a week or two ago where a piece of glacier the size the lower half of Manhattan crumbled into the sea. It was pretty cool to watch.



So before I go celebrating that there is no climate change I want to know which is it that is supposed to add to sea level. Is it sea ice or glacier ice?

BTW I tried to find that claim from Gore about the Antarctic and 2015 but the only thing that came up was this thread on ATS from Bing. Anyone know where I can find that clip?

Those are all happening, however they are evidence of global weather 'change', and that's something that is being put out there more and more by the met guys etc instead of global 'warming'.

No Let's not forget about those who do pollute.

A few years ago maybe even over ten years now. there was a man studying the ice on the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico and he specifically studied a worm that lives in the ice. He had special grants and equipment one day they sent down their robot sub and there on the bottom of the gulf of Mexico were meticulously stacked blue plastic drums. Not writing on them so they took one of their devices they use for cracking the ice and punctured a drum and it was full of crude oil.

He posted his pictures online in a blog. I read it one day and the very next it was gone and so was all the university Study, he disappeared and I have never heard about it ever since.

But who was the ones who put those drums down there and has the power to just remove all evidence and silence people like that? We all Know the answer. Corporate America who runs the show

My own personal belief is that the question is still up in the air, and the fact that the world spends a billion dollars a day working on it seems unjustified. (All right, it's really $350 + billion a year.)

The million dollar question. Good luck with that. Every year in spring time the ice and snow covering a million mountains and the ice at the poles recedes. Rivers overflow, plains flood, a deluge heads down stream…

…but sea levels remain constant.

If you get a satisfactory answer to that one, let me know.

Ok.this isn't going to be popular....

I think that common folks like to think thier local temps will be higher and better without considering the repercussions and do from nothing to making it worse to in thier mind improve the temp.

I have seen this in action...from Florida to here where it's the same as florid as winter in summer...good times.

I wish more people would consider where they are, and how it is good, and a thing worth supporting, other than another imagined "pasture".

Dreaming of other pastures is what's getting us into trouble and unity at the same time, scary times for sure.

That has been going on for Centuries and even longer. There were massive blooms and droughts recorded in the Bible and the population and industrialization was no where as it is today. It affected the whole north Africa to India and that was close to 3000 years ago and it is proven by science by tree rings and Ice cores samples.

Nothing new under the sun weather changes in cycletic patterns and it always will. Have you ever noticed that most of the global warming comes from sea water temps and not necessarily from air temps? Air Pollution hold heat around urban areas but as the air pollution moves out of urban areas it cools down. Temps will be higher in urban areas whether air quality is good or bad. We traveled through China in Dec 2012 it was -19c and it was smoggy in Beijing at 12 noon that day. The smog did nothing to warm the air temp.

Yes our air quality has not improved but it has not affected the air temps.

Did you know that all the decomposing organic material found in tropical forests (12 months a year) in the world put out more CO2 in one year than all the people have breathed out in 100 years? (the Forests in the Northern Hemisphere only put out CO2 for 6 months).

I don't know where the clip is but Rush Limbaugh does, and he has a countdown clock that was set from the time Al Gore said it fry the earth in ten years.

Al has said made so many predictions from flooded sea coasts to the earth will heat up. But this I know the hotest year as far as man recording was 1936. and if we look at the almanacs that go back 300 years here in the US. Temps really haven't changed much.

May marked the 39th consecutive May and 351st consecutive month with a global temperature above the 20th century average.
