Without proof or admission one group of people terribly advanced will be murdering many tonight.
Even worse, some will cheer on this murder.
Just like every other apparent "incident" before.
I just wish my nation was not the one supplying the cash and weaponry.

I have been against Israel in this thread but the more I read the more I am leaning towards supporting them again. The thing that is swaying my mind is threats being put forth by the terrorists. And yes I called them terrorists it is the only word that fits right.

Actually the nuclear part of his post is true. The Israelis were getting their butt handed to them and Nixon was refusing to give them aid. But when they said they were going to use nukes like they have said they would use in the Sampson option he sent them the aid they wanted. People that think America has always been behind Israel needs to do some research.

Sorry to be obtuse...but is there any evidence indicating what happened to these 3 young people? I mean WTH!? There is such a rush to conflict, you would think George Bush and Dick Cheney were on the case.

I just hope that both sides understand that three lives are enough....

Stop the violence, stop the blockade. A two state solution is the only reasonable solution.

You forgot to mention that these "boys" were somewhere maybe they shouldn't have been, there are neighborhoods in the US where certain people have no business being.
But let's put all of that aside and imagine these 3 "boys" were saints and were there on a humanitarian mission delivering much needed food and stuffs.
What is the satisfactory number of dead in the retaliation against the civilian people who are innocent and have not even been charged or convicted?
How many people need to die this time?

If someone invaded my land and forced me to live in 2 little corners, I would be firing hell at them should my rockets run out.

There are more than enough studies that prove people react to their surroundings. If the Israeli's cannot understand why these people hate them so much they would fire rockets recklessly in their direction is a type of arrogance and intolerance that I cannot fathom.

The only logical purpose I can give the position of Israel on the future of Palestine or at least its people, is to reduce the Palestinians to such a depth before a treaty is signed that they shouldn't ask for anything western taxpayers cannot cover. That's all I can figure.

Please explain to me what you mean by "scattered" ? I'd love to clear it up for you.

Angry ? It can get frustrating when some people transform what you say to serve their agenda, it's frustrating that it is sometimes impossible to debate with deaf people.

I'm obviously not rooting for the terrorist state of Israel, who uses great violence against the Palestinians. I'm just not surprised when Palestinians view it as an eye for an eye.

I'm pretty sure that you are aware of where this comes from and who said it. These words alone should leave us demanding proof before blindly accepting their claims. So I definitely don't blame you for wanting more than just their "word" which most people familiar with the region know that words don't got very far.

For those who don't know what that phrase means, please look into it.

They have done much worse for less than what happened to these 3 kids - Lavon Affair and USS Liberty for example, there are many other alleged involvements of other heinous acts which I will leave unnamed to avoid thread drift.

All I want is a bit of proof too.

Also I would like who ever is doing these things to stop, there are actually people in the region who are working for peace but each attempt is sabotaged. This is rather depressing considering that most of us want peace especially those living there.

Yes, I think a civilized society would do that. Palestinians don't do that. They praise the child murderers. They elect agents of terror to represent them. When you support the murder of children you are not innocent. When Palestinians say we have had enough, terrorism does not represent us, we desire peace and harmony, then I will feel bad for them. Unfortunately they refuse to give justice, they refuse to be civilized.

Proof please - When rockets are launched from Gaza, the IDF takes out those launch sites. I bet the the # of dead resulting from last nights attacks will be quite low - single or maybe low double digits, and most if not all of those will be militants... If Israel just wanted to kill a bunch of Palestinians, they more than have the capability to kill every last person in Gaza, but that's not what is happening.

I have oppressed absolutely zero Palestinians in my lifetime, I even have a couple Palestinian friends here, but you can bet that if a rocket landed in my apartment Hamas would be ecstatic they were able to kill this American living in Israel...

When Hamas indiscriminately launches rockets into Israel knowing full well the most likely target is civilians, they cannot even pretend to be freedom fighters - they are terrorists pure and simple. If they want to be considered freedom fighters, then they should only be attacking military targets.

I could not care less about what others think. Facts are facts. A group who stated their goal was to wipe Israel off the map was elected to lead them. How is that indicative of them wanting peace?
