Ah that's very interesting: So I take it that StargateSG7 isn't all that full of #, as you had previously suggested.

Good to know.

Let me ask you this: How would you like him to "throw it around"? More like you?

You're right though, for all the wrong reasons: This is the best thread ever.

I have no knowledge and no dog in this fight..Wisdom is from 10 plus years in aircraft restoration and a trade certificate in aircraft structures.
A lot of knowledge but needs to coalesce it into a meaningful post.I too have a very good mate who is all tech but has no social skills in talking to his peers and anyone who meets him thinks hes a jerk.Deep down he knows his stuff and many of his statements are merely veiled as stab in the dark questions.
And nah nah nah know it alls arent cool and rub the right people the wrong way..
Its all about learning..

----

25+ years in this line of work....

Synthetic Vision Systems and Drone Flight Control Systems,
CPU/GPU Deep Pipeline and Stream Processor Design,
Aeroelastic structures, Metamorphic Structures and Materials Science,
Multi-state Neural Net Database design and coding, Biological-based
computing systems, massively parallel opto-electronic computing systems
design and code plus Terabyte+ communciations buss design and build.

I think I have a few more to add to this list of specific works
that I have completed but my CV is starting to get into the
100+ page territory....

But MOST OF ALL is my Diploma in Television Broadcast Production
allowing me to use my DEEEEEEEEEEEPEST Radio Announcer Voice
to illustriously announce with a most pounding insistence to all
who don't want to listen:

"Would You Like Fries WIth That?"

......

I live in Mom's basement. No Driver's Licence. I collect old Colecovision game
cartridges AND I work all night in an East Van warehouse wrapping hundreds
of XXX VHS tapes a day in cellophane...so WHAT POSSIBLY do you EXPECT
or THINK my social skills to be like ???????

---

Naaaaaah! I really AM CURRENTLY designing and building Stacked-3D
multi-thousand-core fully rad-hardened, germanium-nitride-on-sapphire
microcircuits for my fully autonomous, graphene-tube musculatured,
nearly human-level thinking TERMINATOR androids that have SONAR,
LIDAR, RADAR, Starlight, Thermal, UV and even XRAY audio/video
imaging systems and built-in object recognition, targeting and
fire-control....AND...we're building MILLIONS OF THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!

Now what do you think I will be doing with those.....??????

Actualy designing a 1 to 1 scale Colonial Viper pit but enough willy wagging. No tech talk just facts and speculation to single out the shape of the Green Lady.We can weasle out the details and lineage along the line later..History is the teacher here,we need to see the development tree and gene pool of her.

Would that be linear or orthographic rectification
for my colonic radio modem?

I do however have a base anterior-to-S5-vertebral
clue as to what the Green Lady MIGHT look like
and I would give a gander to these designs....

Why worry about the green lady when id prefeer to talk about the Black doritos more? dat smooth graphene/nanotube body...that ground to space ability....dat silent hovering and optical cloaking. Thats a lady begging to be taken home.

Will it be a Mark 1 or Mark II?

This custom full-size build Colonial Viper Mark 1 design:
projectviper.wordpress.com...

Graphics from the ACTUAL Montreal-based Designer of the Colonial Viper Mark 2 series:

www.pierre-drolet-sci-fi-museum.com...

My personal opinion is that the Mark 2 version IS FLYABLE IS THE REAL WORLD
with appropriate nose-installed steering jets. There is ENOUGH wing surface
area that after a high-speed launch of at least 175 MPH, it COULD be kept in
the air with appropriate flaps and steering jet control from a high-speed computer
doing between 60 to 120 hydraulic or gear electric-motor driven adjustments per second.

The original Mark 1 with the far more angled/raked "wing design" is nearly impossible
to control even WITH powerful computers....BUT...the flatter more "Aerodynamic"
wing shape of the Viper Mark 2 design IS ABSOLUTELY FLYABLE !!!!!

Thank You, but I prefer the more real-down-and-gritty-world
of Battlestar Galactica: Reimagined Series which is FAR MORE
realistic than Star Trek ever was !!!!!

And while the engineering and computer science world
is literally run by Trekkies, i'm on the more military side
of things so Battlestar Galactica speaks to ME!

BSG is MY WORLD....the weight and touch of an M4 or a P90.
The sound of ceramic plates rubbing against a carrier vest.
The look of shock and awe when the oblivious look down upon
upon the sudden arrival of Eternal Nothingness. And I loooove
the smell of silicon grease on my Kabar knives!

Y a know something..I think the BS are faster than the enterprise as well. The MIllenium falcon is even faster than the Enterprise lol. Falcon can go from earth to center of milky way in 22 minutes.
ANd i fi recall the BS is also as fast as the Falcon correct?(it wa sa sci fan comparison if i remember)

In Vancouver Film Studios where they mostly filmed BSG interiors,
I got to take a look at the Galactica's CIC because of producer connections,
and everything felt SO REAL (even though they used a lot old video switching
and monitoring gear as set pieces), it felt like I was on the Stennis or
Constellation again...even the production personnel felt like they
were members of a "Real Crew" and the whole set was so surreal in
nature that I forgot I was on a television set. The set designers did
an amazing job. I got to see ONE ACTUALLY FILMED SCENE and the
tenseness, the quiet determination and messy but direct action
brought back some vivid memories.

I have photos of the set that I keep because it's design
is something we try to copy and use in our real-world
systems because evidently SOMEONE put a lot of thought
and effort into making the BSG CIC BECOME REAL AND WORKABLE!
Why re-invent the wheel?!

Im aware of the other viper project,I was approached by another SciFi guy to do up a design of a pit section of a MkI (you can tell by the open panel on the sides)..They did test fly a 3rd scale XWing till it disintegrated..
Doritos will I think never be let out,not in this century but by then something better will be out flying.Green Lady is a part of a distinctive aerodynamic gene pool.

I think what people should be thinking about most is where that green color comes from. Whats it mean? What are its ramifications?

Green from Boron? Does that really make srnse?

Whats that green for besides give you speed?

Could it be green for a very different reason than boron and could that green color be indicative of some process?

And if so, what are the benefits of this process?

What sort of turbine set up would most allow for this process?

Could that turbine set up be revolutionary?

Could there be much more to that turbine set up benefit wise than just speed? Like much more.

Could this turbine set up (or add ons) in different configurations hybrid well with new technologies that use fluedic thrust vectoring and even advent?

And if so, what about that cold air might help cause the color green?

Is the green doing something its self to the exhaust?

Lots to think about. And a fun puzzle too. But worth it if you can unravel it and solve. Its very illuminating. But id dump the chemistry books and pick up study on other things to crack this puzzle.

Boron...pfft (shakes head)
