Now this is interesting.
www.spacedaily.com...
Only 16 years old! Is interesting if only they could update it!
===
They CAN....!!!! Ram a portion of the jet exhaust into a cavity resonator.
Microwave Cavity:
en.wikipedia.org...
Simple Resonator:
en.wikipedia.org...
The hot engine exhaust MIGHT have enough energy and heat
to cause cascade reactions in the resonator so as to emit
Microwaves, Ultraviolet (i.e. as in Ultraviolet Laser emissions!)
and other EM bands which can be used as a pump for a
Maser or Laser of a specific wavelength and/or power level
which is then used to heat other fuels or for other defensive
and/or offensive purposes.
Maser:
en.wikipedia.org...
The maser/laser can THEN be focused up front of an aircraft
or even to specific parts of the outer skin at specific
bands at enough of an energy level to cause localized
superheating of the atmosphere to push it out of the
way to increase speed, increase RF/Radar Stealth, etc.
Sooo.....
If you read this missive:
en.wikipedia.org...
And talk some math with regards to "Spectral Radiance"
vs "Burning Temperature"
physics.stackexchange.com...
which IS NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH COLOUR TEMPERATURE IN DEGREES KELVIN:
and have a gander at this article:
Why are there Blue and Green Flames:
www.uwgb.edu...
and FINALLY take a look at these two charts:
Flame Test Colours:
www.compoundchem.com...
AND
Candle Flame Temperature:
www.explainthatstuff.com...
and FINALLY read this article....
Adiabatic flame temperature:
en.wikipedia.org...
THEN I can espouse a theory that the Green Lady is GREEN because
AT NIGHT the colours being burnt are a PREDOMINANCE OF BLUE
with YELLOW sooooo.... the materials being burnt are between
1200 and 1400 degres Celcius ... I ask WHAT single or two fuels
burn around 1200 to 1400 degrees celcius?
I also say...if you decrease PRESSURE you're going
to decrease temperature....therefore.....in this case
the fuel MOST LIKELY to be burning near 1200 to 1400
degrees CELCIUS at a reduced exhaust temperature
and pressure is....AN AMMONIA MIXTURE....!!!!!!!!!
So can you say Ammonium Perchlorate AND something else?
...AND...the ONLY REASON you burn that at said 1200 to 1400
celcius high atmosphere combustion temperature, MEANS....
A COMPOSITE FUEL IS BEING BURNED:
Ammonium perchlorate composite propellant:
en.wikipedia.org...
....as an aside read this document:
"The Thermal Decomposition of Ammonium Perchlorate"
by A.G. Keenan (1968)
Which means you're flying at around the upper limit for combuston
of any kind which is between 130,000 to 145,000 depending upon
atmospheric processes and thermal atmospheric expansions
caused by the sun.
So the Green Lady can FLY ALMOST TO THE STRATOPAUSE
area between 130,000 feet to 145,000 feet !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's past 25 miles or 40 km high !!!!!!
Soooooooo.......the Green Lady CAN fly really high in its Maximum configuration
BUT its "Operation Flight Ceiling" is going to be around 15,000 to 20,000 feet lower
than the lower part of the maximum range, so I say around 110,000 to 115,000 feet
will be what the pilots WILL NORMALLY SEE OUT THE WINDOW when piloting the Green Lady !!!!
.....
Again, why do you need to fly at 110,000 to 115,000 feet?
Can you say NRO (National Reconaissance Office) ???
The Green Lady is a Spy Plane !!!!!
----
And based upon TWO flight directions, she is flying over
North Korea and Pakistan/Afghanistan for the MOST part
as her primary photographic missions.
Her secondary missions will have overflight areas
near Yemen and Syria because of possible refueling
at AFB's in Italy or Spain or Turkey!
A THIRD POSSIBLE MISSION will be over south-eastern
CHINA to find the internal testing areas for the new
indigenous Chinese stealth fighters/stealth bombers
and their rail-based or truck-based mobile nuclear
missile launchers and/or their underground bunkers!
Each of the 5 to 12 Green Ladies will fly 3 to 5 missions
per month for at least 15 and as much as 60 overflights
PER MONTH. So we need to look for JPxx fuel purchases
used for the landing/takeoff chase/escort/refuel planes
which should come out to around 20 million gallons a year
in my estimation! And who also makes Ammonium Mixture
fuels at 20 million gallons a year? Find that and you have your answers!
