And yet: emails were lost (BS....lost......pure BS).

The 5th was cited. The 5th.

You plead the 5th so that you do not incriminate yourself.

If there was no wrong doing.......none at all.....why plead the 5th?

There would be no reason to do that.....

And yet it was done.

Witch hunt indeed.

And yet, no one here can produce any type of real evidence...all they can do is talk about "all the evidence"...but can't really point to any.

Like I said, I would plead the 5th as well...I wouldn't play their game and entertain them.

Intel that continues to be gathered by a collective of people....which at this point is irrelevant to and the issue at hand. The truth will come out.

The burden of proof is not on me alone, to suggest otherwise is grasping at straws.

Keep up your straw-man high school debate tactics.

LOL

Super top secret stuff huh???

A group of people on the internet are gathering intel...I guess this case is about to be cracked wide open.

Funny though...you continue to not be able to point to any "evidence" to back up your crazy theories...good job.

Sorry, doesn't work like that...Obama and his administration didn't set up the IRS email system or their backup system. I'm sure they were in place long before Obama was in office.

And all these "scandals" you speak of...how many of them actually have any hard evidence to prove the allegations from the GOP?

And yes...it is all from the GOP...they are doing this on your behalf...to entertain you and to keep your faux outrage up until November. Keep playing along, wouldn't want to have to actually look at the issues...manufactured 'scandals' are much easier to get excited about.

kruphix is actually correct. Aside from the official story, there is no real tangible evidence that specifically points to any criminal activity. This very fact is why I think we are all so heated about this issue, because we know what's going on, but there's nothing we can do about it. No truth is going to come out and the government, as usual, will have succeeded in sweeping its bodies under the rug.

There's no point in arguing with people like kruphix who deny intuition in favor of the relative verbatim. Those of us with eyes to see, will see. The sad part about all of this, is whether we know what's going on or not, we can't change anything. All we can do is watch the inevitable collapse of mankind, into abject subjugation; the ultimate desire of the NWO.

Ah but Obama is in charge of the entire Executive Branch which includes the Treasury Department which includes the IRS.

He gives the directives and sets policy in general.

See, now with that information it just makes this whole thing stink. I can guarantee, without a shadow of a doubt, that a crashed hard drive is not means to throw out an entire computer. The hard drive is removed, formatted and repurposed. Oh, but wait, the IRS said that their system is different than everyone else's.

Again where is your evidence to prove this was some sort of glitch and so many emails were lost?

What would happen if I were to plea the 5th and refuse to pay the amount owed on a CP2000?

So many post of the same garbage. If you cannot see something foul going on with the IRS here, then you are blind.

What don't you understand about this...I'm under no obligation to provide proof...I'm not the one questioning the official story.

Just sit back and think about it for a second...you have a conspiracy theory that you are believing in...and yet you have zero evidence...just a crazy theory.

I'm just fine not playing make believe.

This is a conspiracy site.....

That is a nice tactic of quickly quoting me before I can fix my typOs. Straight from the book. There is no reason to quote a reply with the reply to feature this site offers.

What would happen if I were to plea the 5th on a CP2000 and not pay the IRS the amount they demand?

Good night. The truth is what we seek.

actually,,your quote "you have zero evidence" is not true.

Circumstantial evidence - Definition

"evidence that tends to prove a fact
by proving other events or circumstances
which afford a basis for a reasonable inference
of the occurrence of the fact at issue."

Well at least thats in a court of law,, and not neccesarily the cort of public opinion.

Thats if there is still Laws.

Uh,... hello?,...

It's called CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE...

If I'm walking down the street and I hear a bank alarm go off in the bank down the street and a minute later a guy with a mask on and a curious bag in his hands goes running by me,... followed by security guards from the bank... may I assume that the man I just saw running by me is THE BANK ROBBER?

HMMM>>>

Even conspiracies...at least the good ones...have at least some evidence to back up their claims.

Otherwise it is just fantasy.

I don't know what would happen in your hypothetical case, I don't work for the IRS nor am I a lawyer. My guess would be is that it would depend on the other EVIDENCE they have besides your testimony.

And yet...you still can't point to any evidence...at all.

Ok...what is the circumstantial evidence that proves other events that provides a basis for inference???

I would love to hear this.

I'll give you the same question.

What is the circumstantial evidence that allows you to make your conclusion?

-6 computer/server crashes that contained subpenaed emails... Not one, not two, but six.

-A backup company that supposedly only keeps 2000 emails for each account even though it is a federal agency that is required by law to keep much more for any potential subpenas.

-An IT department at the IRS that is apparently inept because anyone who has even a basic understanding of computer data knows that it is nearly impossible to crash a computer to the point where the data is not recoverable.

-The notion that the IRS relies on local archiving is laughable.
Even I, with my lonely 3 hosting accounts and limited computer knowledge does redundancy. I back up weekly onto my laptop, copy to my desktop and then to an external hard drive. The email account holder has at least one copy and backups are also saved by the hosting company on the server, which I'm sure is backed up frequently as well. So every email sent from one of my hosting accounts has about a dozen possible avenues for recovery and if they all were to fail, then the receivers would also have a dozen ways to recover them.

-The IRS has admitted to abuse of power by targeting groups with certain political leanings.

Basically, that leaves 2 possibilities,
1)The IRS is grossly incompetent when it comes to it's data storage and steps need to be taken immediately to ensure critical data is not ever lost again.
2)The emails were deliberately deleted to cover something up. This option needs to be investigated fully because the very nature of it implies that something in those emails implicated someone who others are protecting.

IMO, option 2 is the most likely scenario and the truth needs to come out. This has nothing to do with party lines, this is about possible corruption in a large government agency. It is something that every American should want to be addressed by having it investigated fully to ensure that everyone involved is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Seriously guys, just STOP replying to Kruphix, you are allowing him to derail this thread and burn everyone out on the subject. That's the whole point. Don't participate, make theses types irrelevant. This thread wouldn't be clogged with so much of his BS if people would just IGNORE HIM.

Lynn laid out very clearly the evidence that something is amiss here, lies are being told. Anyone with half an eye open can see it. So that leaves us with two options, purposeful distraction or willful ignorance. Neither is productive to the subject.

Stop allowing them control over the narrative like this.

They aren't my facts...they are just facts.

I'm sure the IRS would lie to people...it's just that no one has any proof of them lying to anyone.

You keep asking people to provide evidence, and that is exactly what this thread is about. We wanted to see the evidence, but it has been destroyed.

The government admitted that the IRS targeted groups inappropriately. People said ok we would like to see all of the relevant evidence including the emails from the higher ups at the IRS. IRS says the evidence has been destroyed.

Now you and the rest of the Obama claim that people that find this suspicious are living in a fantasy?

Just to clarify, if a Republican is in office and is accused of wrong doing and is asked to release emails and they say they were destroyed, or can't be released because of executive privilege, you will be perfectly ok with that right?
