He also shows the pics that I posted, and expands into how they were photo-shopped.

I'm not trying to be rude here. I just asked a question. If you don't want to answer it of course that's fine. So far your replies haven't answered the question. Will you?

Keep in mind this is written not spoken. There is no 'tone' from this end that many seem to generate when reading. I'm not a pro writer and not fond of typing. My posts tend to be brief and to the point. Most of my "sense of humor" is lost in translation.I also tend to ramble so that's another reason why I try to keep it brief.

In the OP's opening of this thread, the link is to this guy's blog entry dated August 23, 2012.

In my reply on page 32 (of this thread), I posted a link to the same guy's blog, but the entry is dated June 23, 2014...so it is a newer entry.

Okay....I think HE was referring to HIS post (recently)...the one that's in the OP.

Maybe if you click on the link I put up on the last page, you can read it yourself and it will make more sense to you? I put up a quote from his blog entry....(Since writing that post, it has been linked to on dozens of forums, by people every bit as bewildered and confused as I was. As of today it has received over 100,000 page views, and at one point some 20,000 page views in a span of five minutes when it hit twitter.) That....was a quote that HE wrote.

When I cut and paste it into my reply, I forgot to add the quotation marks around it.

Did that help....or make it worse?

I just want to thank EVERYONE, either for or against, that has done research on this weird happening. If your still lurking, then obviously for whatever reason, your interest has been captured. I would love to hear what you have to say if you're still sitting in the corner watching the show.

Instead of singing in the shower, I decided to do some deep thinking, lol.
I have a new theory.

Honestly, I can't buy into the time travel theory. My logical side just won't accept it.
So what other options are there?

How about....memory implants?

That would be quite an experiment, wouldn't it? If they took a test group, of say 5,000 people (let's call them the 'control group')...and somehow (through either physical implant or subliminal)...placed wrong memories of simple things...
They could then watch to see how many notice the difference; how many started speaking up in social media; how many NOT in the 'control group' start to side with 'control group' members (like 100th monkey syndrome).

Mind control, body implants, teeth implants, etc....NOT something that I want to be a reality, but logically it would appear a more realistic technique than warping time and space.

What do you think?

I will remain logged in, but need to keep getting ready...so I hope somebody has some feedback!

How about power of suggestion and mass hypnosis?

As long as all you can find are examples of the anomalous spelling in digital form any theory will do.

What you need to look for is books and/or related (dated) materials in print (on real paper) with the Berenstein spelling. Documents tied directly the authors themselves. Not items that could have been misspelled.

As for time travel, it's impossible to travel through time, but it may be possible to send information back in time.

I AM actively looking for the books.
The book store owner told me the spelling was 'stein'.

Mass hypnosis? Well...hypnosis is possible. I don't understand how it works, but I've seen it and was quite taken aback.

There is MUCH on the internet showing BOTH spellings, so I understand that not much online can be trusted.

Can you expand on your last statement?

I have searched and searched for misprints of any one of the books, but can't find any yet. I am going to keep looking because I feel like that is why so many are so sure. Way back in the day there was no internet so it is possible there was a mass batch released with the name misspelled and there is no record of it. I am hoping I can find a book that survived that long.

As many of us that believed the name is "Stein" and as many ads that were and are printed as "Stein", it really isn't a jump to assume that the publisher may have made the same mistake.

That's what I am hoping for anyway.

Okay, I went back and read it again.
You think your theory is logical...I think my theory is logical.

But we can't really prove anything, and are most likely both wrong.
At least we are trying to think outside the box!

Now the 23's are sneaking in. August 23 also happens to be my birthday.
Early 70's.
Stein.
NDE's...been hit by a car and knocked into darkness. Been in a really bad wreck and was miraculously unscathed. Had a gun pointed at my head and when the trigger was pulled it just went click (or maybe I got blown into another timeline?). Those are the first that come to mind.

I have had NDE's as well.

There are commonalities in the patterns between the people who remember -stein, that is one of the more interesting points.
