The missing persons phenomenon is interesting and so perplexing that I thought I should share this info as I feel that whatever is making these people vanish is due to something left field of reason.

I have to agree that this is very interesting! I like your idea that something needs that bare foot electrical conduit to make whatever strange connection causes these folks to run off wildly, without proper apparel or protective equipment, and with no apparent thought for the consequenses.

I must also tip my hat to those who've recently posted

to this thread.( you know who you are ) Posting information
of sorts is 100% vital to reaching the truth in such matters of
mystery. And can anyone doubt, this is the kind of information,
that entertains by far, the most seclusion?

Don't get me wrong --- I agree with both of them.

In searching the web for data pertinent to this case, I have grown (in some ways) even more fond of ATS, its management, moderation and membership.
Should David Paulides or any other researcher care to take a serious look into this case, there is no better resource on the entire web...than this thread.

Not saying that everything submitted is of premium, unblemished quality...but - almost any question an intelligent mind could consider with regard to this case (and without access to the source files of the Sheriff's department, etc...) is here...and has most likely been given more than a passing consideration.

Prior to making the post that incorrectly identified the area I believed the body to have been found...I was going through this thread with the intent of amassing & categorizing all external links (that pertained specifically to the case)...and then thought that what we have, here, would be a PERFECT project for the Research Forum.
And - if not the Research Forum - members that have been interested in this case, could join together to form our own Research project...
I don't know how well that would work...since most people lose interest pretty easily...but - just tossing it to you for consideration.

In any/every case, though - you are appreciated - and I thank you for the work you (and everyone else) have/(has) contributed to this topic.

Wan, that has to be, the single most bestest compliment
I've ever received on this site. This has been an amazing thread.
But I look back thru it often and am reminded that with out
the members. Even at certain points curtailing my own occassional
cynicism ( As referred to in" Heavens on fire "). This thread would
have gone lop eared and lop sided and I would've, could've, maybe
even should've, ended up with myself feeling like a lop. But all in all,
this thread is by far the best contribution to this site I've ever made.
I realise that and THANK YOU PERSONALLY for helping me hold it all
together when I grew so weary at obvious times.

UPDATE

OK, as author of this thread and being I'm in So. Cal this
should be on me. I'm going to employ some advice from
Diggin Dirt to find out what documents are needed. And
I'll find out the specifics it will take to obtain them. I
will even try to get out to the site but that won't be for
awhile. Any ideas pertaining to names of documents and
such will be helpful. I'll find out the info on the agreed upon
docs and we'll go from there. Hopefully they're free under
FOIA.

Now that would be amazing! I'm game and can offer room
and board to cut costs. Modest middle class living no fleas
or bugs and very clean and we're just good hospitable people
so. Just so you have some flavours to consider.

Oh and to be honest I'm not afraid of what could happen.
As much as I am of have'n my family not knowing what happened.
But we'll prolly be camped out at least one night.

Emotional involvement is both a good and a bad thing.
Without the emotion - you won't stay involved.
But then...you're more likely to become attached to ideas, explanations, etc...and grow either defensive or even beligerent at differing views.
Sometimes 'a cool one' can help...
Sometimes, it only makes the warrior more combative.

But --- who cares!?!
Why do we have to be perfect?
We certainly aren't in real life.

Fortunately - we do have to actually push/click a button before showing what we feel...which often is enough pause to...reconsider.
That has probably saved me many an offense on these boards.

In any case - I have always loved your avatars - and, for whatever reason, find myself drawn to the threads you post (whether I agree with you or not).
So - if nothing else - I am glad to have had the opportunity to make your acquaintance under these circumstances.

I am so tempted to try and find a way of making a trip to the L.A. area...

I'm in! I'm in I'm so in and I will make the time if we can
co ordinate a trip there. After all it's not anything like
storming area 51 would just be completely absurd.
So I dream of this happening and soon.

Or maybe just a yes you're invited and I have room to
