We did not assume it was a sasquatch. It was just a sudden feeling of dread. It was in an area where I have seen a strange animal that I could not identify. The video on this thread of an upright black bear could be an explanation...even though this area is not known to have bears. It was just a brief glimpse of something big and hairy. It was very odd that three people in a quiet wooded area suddenly got scared for no obvious reason. We were hunting squirrel and rabbits. All of us had guns. There are wild hogs and the occasional cougar in the area, but they don't scare me.
I have had another possible sasquatch experience that probably deserves its own thread.

Sorry maybe I was misguided by your wording when you said "another possible Sasquatch experience" I thought maybe you were insinuating you had already had an encounter?
Please share your story?

People have shot them before and I've also heard many stories of people that see them in their scope but can't pull the trigger because it looks too human. Would you seriously shoot something you saw in the woods standing on two feet?? No because you're not a murderer and the few ppl that do see them and debate shooting them think twice because of how massive they are. If your shot misses and you piss off an 800lb pure muscle Bigfoot that can move through the forest incredibly fast, what do you think he's going to do to you? Some of the missing 411 cases deal with men that have gone in armed and disappeared but show signs of a struggle and rounds being shot off but no dead Bigfoot. There's also a case of a man shooting at one at his camp with 2 other hunters, he ends up being found crushed to death, one hunter goes to find him and doesn't come back, so the last hunter flees and reports to the authorities.
There are few cases of people shooting at them if you just read in to it and many more of people aiming and looking through the scope only to be so afraid of what they see they won't dare pull the trigger and instead run. Just think how scared you'd be to see that something you laughed about as a fairy tale was a real life 9 foot monster staring you down in the middle of nowhere with no one to call for help. I'd take a video then I'd run and report it to ats ASAP.

If only a quarter of them have been discovered how do you know there are a quarter that have been discovered?

Where do you live? I've tracked BF since they live nearby. After a year their presence became as common as anything else tho and I've basically ignored them for the last 3 years. Nothing else to do about them. I know they still visit and catch glimpses of them or hear them.

David Attenborough is VERY familiar with wildlife. Here he is talking about Yetis and Sasquatch:

I'm curious, just how many bear carcasses have you ran across in the woods?
With in the last 10 years, Shelly Williams, PhD, a specialist in primate behavior, confirmed a newer acknowledged ape species, the natives knew it existed already. This animal wasn't hiding, no one of 'importance' formally discovered it yet.
The Bili Ape (Bondo) can stand around 6 ft tall and some weigh over 200 lbs.
That's a big ole boy.

Nothing else to do about them?!? If you have such easy access to bigfoot, why not take some high quality video footage? That's something that's sadly lacking.
