I would love to know the odds of these specific Emails from the IRS SEVEN being 'accidentally' lost.
I'm assuming it would be astronomical.

SEVEN my happy ass. This is protecting about 50+ people in the mix. Most of them in the administration of king Obama...

This LIE is to obfuscate a lot of peoples' involvement in the IRS scandal.

I think the odds are up there near a youtube video causing a spontaneous protest that resulted in our Ambassador and 3 other Americans being executed in Benghazi.

Americans will get frustrated, then angry. But it won't matter. Obama and his minions know how to play this game to perfection. And, we have an AG that is complicit, imo.

Time will pass and most of this will be forgotten and swept under the rug while the MSM focuses on some other snippet of sensational news. All they need to do is keep the molehill from turning into a mountain till AFTER the November elections.

Lost evidence = no evidence. Let the masses get all pissy and moany....the culprits know it will pass and these theives and liars will get away with yet another incident that pulls the wool over our eyes.

Hide, take the fifth, obfuscate, confuse, use false narratives, oops oops oops we lost it, something crashed, someone died in a car crash/plane crash/suicide/etc., etc., etc. And all WE THE PEOPLE can do about it is get frustrated and angry.

Just about as believable as the dog ate my homework excuse. And as the pile of feeble excuses grows their credibility withers.

Edit:Needless to say this is an obvious obstruction of justice at least.

I don't think so to be honest. This administration and its actions have been able to accomplish something unusual in American Politics - Unite the Right and the Left.

When Dianne Feinstein took Obama / White House to task in the media, going so far as to contradict the White House when they stated Congress was briefed, when in fact she stated they were not briefed, on the prisoner release exchange I think it had more of an "I am done with covering for Obama impact than most think.

A mountain out of a molehill..

In this case I don't think its a mountain... I think we are looking at Olympus Mons. The closer we get to the midterms and 2016 elections the more you are going to see Democrats going after Obama. Since he wont have any other job ever and members of Congress will be required to be elected I think things are going to get nasty pretty quickly with regards to Obama and his scandals.

Even if we want to play politics with it the Democrats are not going to create a situation that will allow a Republican President to act in the same manner Obama is. The Democrats in Congress have fallen on their swords for Obama and I think they are done being abused by him now.

This is absolutely stupid. Not only did my own computer's hard drive die recently (past month), but when I plugged in the new one and reconnected with my email account. Voila! There were all the emails sitting in my in-box, just like before my drive crashed. Heck, when my power supply quit on me a week later ... and we plugged in the new one. Guess what? There were all my emails, sitting there in my in-box.

This story is so bad they deserve to be tarred and feathered and run out of DC with pitchforks.

Didn't you hear....all open cells at Leavenworth are now conscripted for housing illegal aliens pouring over our borders like a flash flood in the desert.

You should make that a separate thread ... it's really important news.

I sure as hell hope this kind of logic works the next time I face an IRS auditor for something I honestly and sincerely lost or no longer have for some point of verification.

I'd say it rates right up there with "you mean I have to keep receipts"

Nothing to see here (now) move on.

Funny, I bet they could produce my emails, or any from any of you here if they needed or wanted to.

Check with the NSA. I am sure they have a copy.

Was going to say the same, but then it occurred to me that maybe the mass surveillance is BS. By making us all think we're being watched we police ourselves!

Big woop. Everytime our archive program runs or they upgrade Notes or Exchange, we lose emails. Sometimes people even (gasp) delete them.

Unless every hard drive that those emails touched was physically destroyed, they are still "out there" somewhere. A top notch military computer forensic team could probably get them, if so desired.

"Oops they're lost" is very much like saying, "I don't remember".

Absolutely correct. Those emails are NOT lost!
There's also all the server back-ups!!

How about the next time you or someone else is audited you just say I lost my receipts and see how that goes over. IThat's an auto guilty button to them.

We should look at it as they are waving a big flag saying were guilty as he77.

One of the IRS employees whose Emails were 'lost' was Nikole Flax a frequent visitor to the White House:

During [Steve]Miller’s tenure[former IRS Commissioner], his chief of staff was Nikole Flax, who also regularly visited the administration officials in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building and made several visits to the White House.

In 2008 and 2009 she served as a senior technical advisor in the agency’s now-embattled Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division, which is under congressional investigation for targeting conservative groups.

Flax helped to write the IRS response to the audit that uncovered the targeting, according to transcripts of interviews with IRS staff conducted by congressional investigators.

White House logs show Flax, during her time at the IRS, met with Munoz as well as health care advisors Ezekiel Emanuel (emphasis mine) and Jeanne Lambrew.

Most government agencies routinely "archive" emails. Sly politicians use non-government/work emails for the real shady deals
