It varies. When your stomach is empty you need less sleep, because your sleep quality is higher. But during ketosis, I can barely stand up. :p

Some people, with a certain kind of metabolism, can fast easily. People with a low body temperature can go without eating easier than those with a normal 98.6. This is because we are cool blooded like a turtle....turtles don't need to eat very often. Another way to look at it is that vampires don't have to eat often
Hey! Glad to hear a fellow parent will be joining me. Amazing diet you accustomed your child to. Mine eat a lot of fruit, and my four year old loves nuts too. Recently they won't even touch meat, nothing to do with me being vegetarian, I do offer it to them, but no, they can't even look a it. Am concerned a bit if I'll have enough energy to look after kid/kids thorough my fast, depends how many out of three I'll be with that weekend. But what the hey, this will be a peace of cake compared to giving birth

this was 3 years ago, he is now 4.. we both have benefited well...
also add in some yoga, HBO chamber and some 24- 48 hours fast for me and everything has changed for a positive..
the only downfall, is my metabolism and appetite is off the charts..and his also...
next on my agenda was a 3 day fast...this is a perfect time for me....I usually get massive headaches, but screw it, I will suffer and make it three days...if I get a headache, I will just jump in chamber,and let my stem cells increase even more.
I confirm....water fast for me, and cooking good whole foods for the family .....

My 3 day fast was unintentional, but the results have been astounding. After my fast though, I stopped intake of all MSG containing products, as I suspected that MSG was the cause of my illness. So, if anyone does do the fast, maybe they could also go MSG free when they start eating again, and see if they then get about a weeks worth of quite intense withdrawal sysmptoms such as chills, sweats, brain freezes, emotional swings, and report here if they do?

I'd probably join you on the fast but since I took medicine for five years that caused problems a while back, my liver calcified partially and my metabolism does not switch over easily anymore. I am not allowed to take the epilepsy drugs anymore. I control it with food choices.
My body does not easily and smoothly switch over to burning fats anymore. I can do all right if I don't eat anything in the morning, but as soon as I start doing any exercise I get hypoglycemic episodes. I have always had hypoglycemia but it is a lot worse now after that. I would be too busy to eat before and get the shakes. Now, I get the shakes and spins....not fun at all.

the build up of digested food in the intestines must be cleared otherwise it releases toxins and gases back into your system.
