He's got a pattern. He's selling a book based on the pattern. If his quakes don't happen, then his book will also fail. But the really great thing about this particular doom porn ... it's TIMED. I seriously don't know how many doom porn threads we've had that had both a date and a time.

Aw man. We have to wait another month and a half for the next failed doom date. I'm still getting over the last failed prediction of May 31st from my thread.

I say if this is a real man he will donate all proceeds of the book sales or any other money he is making doing this to charity if he is wrong.

So, is he saying two earthquakes or did he mean either July 12 or September 9? It just seems like he's making a big mistake to predict two earthquakes in the same year unless he's only claiming that they will be strong ones and not catastrophic.

you guys don't understand. what's great about this is he can't fail. there is always an earthquake in California somewhere. All he has to do is get one little earthquake anywhere within his time frame and he's right. Nowhere does he say whether it will be big or small. If it's a big one now that will be something interesting.

4.6 in California on the July 5 and now the 6.9 in Mexico July 7
a million tiny quakes hitting all along the San Andreas. so far nothing extremely unusual, but it could just be build up to something bigger. or nothing at all as it releases these more minor quakes. here is USGS sites earthquake map for the last seven days, but it's pretty typical for California. A lot of minor stuff. If something big actually happens on the 12th it's still not exactly proof of anything.

Could we move the July 12th date to another day possibly? I have another disaster that day on my calendar. Dang it! I hate when that happens.......
