If it happened before entering kitchen it would not have said "8:57" on kitchen clocks. Didn't you say you looked at the time in the kitchen when you started to heat the pizza? So what happened happened after you began eating or shortly after taking out the pizza.

My time references were based off of cable box and my g shock watch, there is a clock on the kitchen microwave though I don't remember looking at it. After finding out about the missing time I checked other time pieces in the house to confirm they were the same.

Ok, I see.
But still some of the so-called scientific explanations sound more ridiculous than the time slips explanations.

I don't disagree, I just don't know.

But I would like to thank you and everybody else for their input to this experience it lets me know that whatever the reason, it's an experience shared by many , perhaps under different circumstances but shared non the less.

im not sure how to take this post....whether you are being serious or taking a dig...

Serious, I haven't caught up yet but if no one asked did you guys do any drink?
I am fascinated by such cases, there are so many of them and some like yourself not prone to high imagination.
The only one drinking was my girlfriend, and at that point I dont think she had had any, and if she had, it wouldnt have been more than a hard cider or two. My niece is pregnant, and I have a medical issue that makes it a bad day if I drink, so we werent able to partake.

Never mind me OP, but I'd like to leave your thread with this, having read it.

Seizures cause this kind of "fugue state." However, independent corroboration, like from your clock, testify to other than a fugue state: assuming it's either you, biologically, or your environment….
Having said that, a "fugue state" can be introduced to you electronically, or by other means.
All possibilities are worth consideration…that is, if you're telling the truth.

I am just about to head upstairs to heat up a four cheese DiGiorno frozen pizza but I just decided to check one more thread first.

So I read this threads OP and I'm thinking twilight zone.

OK, I am now VERY hungry for that pizza.

Dang... this is WAY too creepy for me...

I haven't noticed anything unusual. I said I was going to observe anything that may have changed, so far nada. Maybe, OP, it was a localized thing that was centered at your home. Small time portal, possibly dimensional portal, haunting? I don't know. It does suck when you miss one of your shows, though.

Maybe we are in a game like SIMS and the operator didn't feel like sitting through your show, so the sped up the time. Or the game froze momentarily. Ooh creepy.

One of my older sons has had missing time twice, once 2 hours, and once 1 hour, while up, and while he was putting on a show he was waiting to see. He had some memories of being shown things on a viewing screen during one of them. The second occasion, I had wounds and some memories.

He also went to the kitchen, just after the show started, then the ads were on, to grab a quick grilled cheese sandwhich in the toaster oven, and when he went back, completely different programming. He checked the time and it was 2 hours later. The second time, he was also about to watch a late night show, and the room spun, he got very disoriented and found himself changed from the position he was in, which was adjusting the buttons on the tv, to facing the game system and the other game tv.

Is it possible that you had the show somehow paused earlier in the day and forgot about it and then when you changed the channel to 511 it instantly switched back to "live" time which could have been several hours behind? Just a thought?

Not only am I baffled, I'm pissed I missed the show somehow after waiting two weeks. The weird part was I was looking through the channel guide to see what I could find for the couple of minutes before the show, as I hate commercials, and when I knew it was time, I turned back to 511, only to find that the show was over. DONE, FINITE...WTH

Well if you aren't lying ,it could be a fugue state brought on by God knows what. Abduction from what ever UFOs are or a time experiment of some kind.

We don't have recording boxes with our time Warner. Straight programing with on demand.

You haven't mentioned anything about asking your GF about this. What did your GF say when you asked her what time it was when she came into the kitchen to ask you to turn down the TV?

a reply to: DenyObfuscationfor some reason my kindle is jacking me around. I did ask her what she remembered and when she came out of th were bedroom to quiet down the tv she was more interested in where I was going to slice the pizza than what time it was being we have new counters and all. She's a bit of a worry wort. Wasn't paying attention to the time.

I'd recommend you see a doctor. If it happens again, then definitely. If you feel anxious just do some deep breathing exercises to help you relax.

I've had mini time slips in the past but nothing more than 10 minutes or so.

I'd just try to relax and maybe keep a journal to document your day, weird or not.
